I read this on another site and it was very insightful to me so I wanted to share:


If you’re walking down a set of stairs and you slip on a stair, you get up and continue your walk down. You would never get up and then throw yourself down the rest of the stairs. If you've "fallen" lately, now's the time to get up, forgive yourself, and move on!!!

    If you break a tea cup, you don't pull down the entire china closet.

It's a good thing to remember. I recall on of my most self limiting phrases when I would use on a bad day was "Oh what's the use? This is pointless." And that bad day would become two or three or even a week.

Go for it. You have great goals. Pursue them.

Change my mantra!!!

This is my mantra!! I need to re-focus!! CHANGE my relationship with food. If I am upset when I finish the second plate of food or eat when I am not hungry, I will still be upset. I need to get to the bottom of why I am upset and solve that NOT eat it out.

I have been on Spark enough to know do not rely on the scale only for results. I have read article after article, read other Spark members blogs and seen it on tv but NO it is different for me. But under protest because I know if won't matter, I took my measurement a month ago and today was the day to re-measure. I have been working out five to 6 days a week until last week when I hurt my back. But even with missing one week of working out I was shocked to find out I had lost a total of 8 INCHES all over my body. emoticon I am still shocked!!!
NOW...I AM A BELIEVER!!!! emoticon

Challenge Progress...

1. Water, Water,Water... I am having the hardest time drinking enough water. I drink 4 cups and then I start to have problems. But I am drinking at least half of my goal. I brought a new pretty water bottle so let's see what happens.

2. No fast food. I have been doing really good with this so far. I have only had it twice which is a major improvement from one or twice daily. My goal is NO FAST FOOD!!

3. Lunch to work daily-- DONE without any problems so far.

4. Exercise Daily- not quite yet. But getting better and better daily. I am loving Zumba!!!

5. Not reading my passage daily like I should. I just need to do this!!!!

Overall, not bad but not great. But I will keep pushing . I have received several comment from people that I look like I am losing weight--so I am going to keep reaching for my GOALS!!! emoticon
