can't do it on FB cause my hubby will see it. so the other day i said to him that i really wanted some of those little chocolate gem donuts. didn't get them, but was really craving them! so he just went to put gas in my car and get some milk and he comes back with a whole bag of the stupid things! gives me one and tells me to stay out of the rest of his damn donuts. stupid MF thinks he's doing me damn favor! he could have bought anything other than that, but no, he buys the one thing i'm craving! and then tries to tell me he's doing this to be supportive of me. WHAT THE EFF EVER! EFF HIM!

I'm sure your hubby was only trying to be nice and didn't really know he was jeopardizing your diet. Men aren't always the brightest crayon in the box, but I bet he learned his lesson ... or, hopefully he did anyway :)
I can relate a little bit .. I try really hard to make healthy meals for my fiance and myself, but he always wants pizza, chips, etc. -- stuff that is hard for me to turn down! Ugh!!
Hang in there and keep up the great work on your diet!

yeah, i ate the one b/c he gave it to me before he said all the rest of that sh*t. the thing that pissed me off the most was i had been having a tough day with the kids and when he came back from the gas station i was on the phone with my mom and he came up beside me with the bag behind his back dancing around like a little kid on christmas, so excited to show me what he got. so naturally i thought he was being sweet and bought them b/c he knew i had a bad day. never crossed my mind that he bought them to rub the fact that i'm a fat cow in my face. and to make things even better, NOW HE WON'T TALK TO ME! like i'm the one who screwed up here.

Feb GOYAAM Plan

Tuesday, February 02, 2010

Been a while since I've posted a GOYAAM plan, but here goes. I'm not really sure what goals to set and have them be realistic. It's hard to make a routine with a new baby since everything is pretty much gonna revolve around him for the next few months. I'm just gonna make every effort to do more than I am now.

Welcome back and congratulations on tthe new baby!!
I think the best thing to do is start tracking a little without going overboard. Babysteps always work best for me - that way I don't burn out.
Perhaps you can set a goal for 15 minutes daily movement, or something similar and track that. Make sure you get your water and track that. If you see that you CAN DO, you gain momentum and get into a great groove. A good way to start again is to head over to the GOYAAM team and join our Feb. Challenge!
Remember: YOU CAN AND YOU WILL! HELL YEAH!

Going to attempt to get this weight off one last time!

Saturday, January 02, 2010

Seems like every time I lose a significant amount of weight and start to feel good about myself, I get pregnant and gain it all back. Now that I'm done having kids there's really no excuse for gaining it back. Although, with said kids, it's become increasingly difficult to find time to exercise and fix healthy meals. My husband leaves for work at 7:30am and doesn't get home till after 6pm and by the time he gets home, I have no energy left to do anything. Some days there is a short window during the afternoon when both kids are napping, but the idea of me napping as well sounds more appealing than working out or being in the kitchen cooking. Guess I should start making more of an effort to cook my meals for the week on the weekend when my hubby is home to help with the kiddos. I usually plan all my meals for the week, but then never get around to cooking them so I gotta grab something quick, usually pre-packaged and full of calories, to eat for lunch and dinner. I also have to exude some willpower at the store and stop buying chocolate milk. If there's chocolate milk in the fridge, I will drink that before anything else. I can go through a gallon in less than 2 days. That's a lot of calories! I'm going to make an effort to at least do one 10-15 minute Spark video a day as well as strength training at home 3 days a week. I just bought a new pair of running shoes and can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can start running again. I don't have access to a treadmill and the only place I have to run is outside and I don't do well in the cold. I'm hoping to be able to run my first 5K in May.

I'd like to lose about 75 pounds by the end of the year. That's a measly 1.5 pounds per week. Seems doable, right? We'll see!

By the way, just to give you an idea about how much time I have to myself, it's taken me about 12 hours to write this!

Ok, I'm done rambling for now!

Time is hard for me as well. Not so much that I don't have it but like you when my baby is napping I'm so tired I just wanna nap too. I also map out all my meals for the week and then I'm either too lazy to fix then or I forget to lay something out to thaw until it's dinner time. Good Luck and keep on trying, eventually it will pay off.
