The last three nights I've slept very poorly, so instead of dragging my tired self to work today I called in sick. I was literally shaking and sick to my stomach I was so tired.
If I had gone to work today I would have made it through the day, but would have eaten everything in sight to keep myself awake and would have come home being cranky to my family. Instead, I took my children to their Aunt's just as I would if I had been working and came back home, ate a healthy breakfast and then took a three hour nap.
The results: My eating was completely in control today (stayed in range for my calories, carbs and fat, and was only 1 gram short on protein). After the nap and taking it easy this afternoon I was able to muster up the energy to fit in a short workout. I had the patience to be a good wife and mom.
Despite how I felt at the start of the day, I feel that today has been a very successful day.

I'm having a bloated kind of day, but I am psyched that I stayed within my calorie range!!!
Most of my exercise was within the coarse of my work day helping to bring the residence back and forth from their day programs. I also did 10 minutes of the Wii Fit Plus to help with my Wii Zooms team challenge.
Hopefully my digestive system will straighten itself out tomorrow.

Very busy day at work today. I had 2 meetings and had to do direct care coverage for awhile. This led to me essentially skipping lunch (ate it at 5:30 pm, so at that point you call it dinner).
Calorie wise I only went over by 40 calories today, so everyday has gotten a little better.
Exercise was less than usual because of my busy day. God Bless dear hubby for suggesting that the whole family including dog, go for a walk when I got home otherwise my morning exercise might have been it for the day. So I got 14 minutes on Walk It Out and a nice 25 minute walk with my family. Tomorrow is one of my early shifts so I won't get any more in today as I will be going to bed in about an hour.

Day 2 was a little less challenging than day 1. Still went over my daily calories by going out to eat tonight, but put in a lot of exercise so I hope that balances out.
I tracked my calories - I was over by about 300, felt like I was trying to make good choices.
I exercised for at least 10 minutes - more like an hour and a half! I did about 30 minutes of Wii Sports for Wii Zooms Amazing Race challenge, then before we went out to eat tonight we had the girls grab their scooters while hubby and I walked and we did an hour on a local bike/walk trail.
I wrote my daily blog - I'm finding that I really like the accountability of this and the moral support I am receiving through friends comments is truly a precious gift!
Tomorrow I am back into my work week and I think my eating is a little more structured on work days, however, on Tuesdays I work 10am - 6:30pm, so usually unless I fit in fitness in the morning it might not get done.
