its funny how stress does affect your goals.... super stressed this week.... did the same things ive been working on and actually gained weight this week.... not going to let it bring me down.... i know im doing the right things and eventually it will catch back up.... silly stress.... u can go away now

    Well I can tell you have a very mild nature.....that was a very polite way to tell your stress to go away.
It's good to see you listening to your body rather than that darn scale. You do sound very focused on what you are doing to acheive your goal. Keep up the good work. And if that darn stress comes back.....this is what I would do.

I write my own schedule at work.... and just realized today that i have 4 of the next 6 days off.... i need a project.... anyone have any ideas?

    It really depends on your interest. I often go to the visitors center or look it up on the Internet.
Interesting places to visit in the local area and
walking paths and trails. emoticon

what to do when you don't feel good

so i woke up yesterday morning not feeling so great. i don't like not feeling good. my eyes wont stop watering and my throat hurts and stuffy head. i did still do a 15 min workout yesterday convinced it would help me feel better. no such luck. i feel yucky today too.... anyone have any great ideas for workouts when you don't feel good? my choice workout is treadmill.... but when i can't breathe.... it stinks.

need some good ideas to still get a burn in, anyone got any?

At my job, we are having a contest, where you can actually win money for loosing weight.... crazy huh?

so, it started a week and a half ago.... we weigh in once a week. I had to wait to weigh in because I had a long weekend off. so, after 10 days... I lost 6 pounds.... I know this isn't the healthy way... but i did stop drinking soda... which I give alot to that alone. plus the excersize ive been doing.

Anyway.... i am the top looser so far. yeah me

    My journey started out the same way. Last January and then again for lent we had an office contest and I won both. I reduced my portion sizes, stopped the pop, and walked a bit. Hard to believe I didn't find my way to Sparks until later that fall. Best of Luck!

I'm Back At It

Well after a long "break" I decided I can do this again. I had last 45 lbs before... and gave up because I went for a two month stretch without loosing. Well, I decided I can do this again.... So now, once again back up to 240.... almost where I started last time... I am making a commitment to really work on this lifestyle change. I have lost 5 lbs this month due to good exersize and eating habits. Hopefully I can truely hold on to this...
