No more exercise until a diagnosis

I just wanted to stop in and make a short blog.

For the past month I haven't been feeling too well. I've been lightheaded, faint, confused, irritated, & moody. My heart feels like it's pouding out of my chest. I finally decided to go to the doctor after having a horrible "attack". I was laying on the couch just crying to my husband. It is so scary. I've been having this happen for almost 2 years off and on. I've seen 2 different doctors about it but they gave me some really stupid diagnosis. I finally have a doctor that I LOVE. He listens to me and understands what I'm saying. I'm really going to miss him when Nick gets stationed somewhere.

Anyway, when I find out more I'll be sure to update!

Keep up the good work everyone! I love coming on here and seeing all of you losing those pounds!!!

I had similar issues a few years ago- the official diagnosis was Generalized Anxiety Disorder. it can be VERY scary (& feel like you are having a heart attack!). You never know when its going to flare up. Hopefully they find out what is wrong with you SOON! Hang in there!! Report Inappropriate Comment

My husband was supposed to leave for OSUT (basic training) for the Army n Jan 17th, but since he was underweight they pulled his contract..not allowing him to go. We waited for 8 MONTHS for him to be shipped off. He finally gained his weight back and they gave him a contract for the 20th of this month! I was so shocked! I was sort of hoping that it would be further off than what they gave him since we have a 15w old baby. I'm glad he didn't leave in Jan because he was able to have the crucial bonding time with her. She may not remember him we he gets back but he will remember her.

My 4 yr old is getting so smart! I'd say if a few more months she'll be reading! How exciting! Right now we are reading a book called "Science" since it's her favorite subject. Sometimes I get a little tired of it because she ASKS so many questions. LOL! Good thing Nick and I are science nerds. Nick is a science major.

Any whoozles..

I've lost 10lbs since Jan! That's good considering I lost the grunt of it at the middle/end of Feb. Yes...I was a bad girl and didn't work out that whole time! I had my MIL her for a month and I was so exhausted from dealing with her I didn't even want to think about exercising. I'm hoping to lose maybe 10lbs a month like I did last year. I just want to be at my goal weight before my husband gets out of his training. He says he likes me because he has more to hold on too LOL but I know he will be happier with a happier wife. Right now I can say I have huge HUGE self image issues.

BUT I know everything will work out in the end....

it has to sometime, right?!

So..it's been almost a year since I found out I was pregnant. Since then I've (obviously) had my baby. Being pregnant with her caused me to gain a little bit of weight. I'm happy to say that I've lost all but 10lbs of the weight. Unfortunately, I was still overweight when I got pregnant. I still needed to lose 19lbs. Last year I lost 21lbs in just 2 months with sparkpeople and I'm hoping I can do it again!!

My starting weight right before I had baby was 219. My current weight is 183, that's a 36lbs weight loss! Pretty good I think! So for now I've set my goal to get to my pre-pregnancy weight of 173. As soon as I reach that goal I'll change it to 145 which is my ultimate goal.

I'm really excited to get started!

This ice storm is really irking me. I need to go to the clinic because I have a stupid sinus infection and I don't know if it's bacterial or viral. I really can't afford to get my daughter sick so I've been keeping away. She doesn't understand really, she just thinks I don't want her around! I wish I could just hug her but she cannot afford to get sick at all!! If she does she'll be locked up in the hospital for over 2 weeks. Yeah for a cold that is standard Cystic Fibrosis procedure.

Any how! I'll just post a few pics and be on my way. I have to cook dinner in about 20 mins.

Our mix here was sleet and snow...about a foot fell today, an additional half-foot tomorrow...we have been informed to work from home tomorrow if at all possible...the roads are really treacherous and public transportation is VERY delayed. Report Inappropriate Comment

Yeah! Some people think that we have been conditioned so that when they do announce that they are real we won't panic. I don't know what to believe. I believe that ET's do exist but I don't know if I believe that they are helping make government decisions. Of course, if he does announce it he's not going to say that. I guess we'll see!
