Whoo Hoo! I finished one goal: I finished my 5k my way and lost 7" total inches since I started Spark People! Whoo Hoo! These were things from March goals and March measurements! I am so excited!

Special Note: I finished the 5K My Way today! I walked 3.3 miles in 58.5 minutes! Whoo Hoo

Also I measured today! I was kind of avoiding this because the scale was up, but guess what?!?!

Waist down 4.5 (wow!)
Hips down 2 (yippee!)
Thighs down 0.5 (amazing!)
Arms actually stayed the same.

I am doing great! Whoo Hoo! Yippee-Ky-Yah!

Where I am

I was looking on my friend feeds and I am a little bit distressed. I haven't given God and Christ the time they deserve on this Easter day. I find myself sad because my husband is a difficult man. One whom I love dearly but I find myself pulled further and further away from my Godly walk and I know a lot is due to my husbands beliefs. I ask everyone to pray about this. I need to keep my focus where it belongs and not close God out out of my daily walk because of the difficulties my faith puts on my marriage.

    Will add you to my prayer list. Have you read the book - The Power of a Praying Wife (not sure this is the exact title but it is close) Stormy O'Marty or someone like that is the author. I read it a long time ago so am not certain of the exact title but it made an impact on me when I read it.

    You are in my prayers. Many married people can get along fine as long as they respect each others beliefs if they are of different faith. If you feel comfortable talking to him about it, simply ask him to respect yours and you will respect his. :) HUGS!

April's Goals - Building Healthy Habits

So I am looking at April 2013 and wondering what is in store for me this month. The end of March was very rocky and I feel like I am losing the battle of the willpower. Because of this I want to list the following Goals for April - building up healthier habits.

1) I will review and implement the Mind Over Body 10 step resource. (I have included the link below if you are interested.)

2) I will Blog daily my progress on these 10 steps.

3) I will review and comment on at least 2 blog entries by other SparkPeople each week.

4) I will visit other SparkPages and will write at least one comment each week on someone's SparkPage.

5) I will welcome at least 3 new persons on my teams each week.

6) I will review message boards and make at least two postings each week.

7) I will diligently work on the Stash Buster Challenge and post progress daily.

8) I will push myself to complete the Early Morning Challenge as soon as I remember which team was doing this.

9) I will complete my SparkCoach program daily.

10) I will earn at least 100 points daily on SparkPeople.

11) I will continue to review the verses I have covered in March. I feel they are beneficial to April's goals. And maybe a few more added in. I will start April with Philippians 4:13 (written below)

To help me keep track of these goals I have created a little chart for me to post my progress on these items. I hope I haven't bit off more than I can chew. But I want these items to become habits. Maybe I will be better able to put these items to habit if I place myself accountable here in my blogs.

I must remember: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil 4:13
