I know you guys hear from me less and less. I am still around! Monday I started The 17 Day Diet along with my sister and NOW Fiance'..dats right THE DUDE proposed last week so we are hitched bound. I STILL have not been back in the gym but plan on going tonight. I log my food on a quicker access site but still wanted to drop in and say hello.

In total since my surgery I have gained 10 pounds but not worried because I am striving to drop those 10 along with HOPEFULLY an additional 20. I am confident that I can and will be able to achieve this with the 17 Day Diet. If you haven't heard about it please google it.
It is amazing and the success rate is out of this world. Its a 4 cycle diet (17 days each) in which you eat certain foods for 17 days and change up so the body doesn't get use to what your doing which enables you to lose weight faster.

Oh well I am leaving now but I will continue to check back and I hope you all are finding success on your journeys.

Looooooooong time no hear from me I know. I am still "off" the wagon but I have a plan. Tomorrow will make 90 days that I have not been active on SparkPeople. I haven't really been active in any form for that matter. I had surgery November 3 (hysterectomy) and I have been taking it easy. I am able to get back in the gym but my mental is not where it needs to be and I am working on that.

I have gained more than enough belly fat during this hiatus and while I am not happy about it; I know what I have to do to get back on track and I am in the process. Soon I will be starting the new FAD 17-Day Diet.

My system needs the blast that this diet provides (I have NEVER been able to jump-start or scare my metabolism and I have seen and heard wonderful things regarding this diet so its the way I am headed. I plan to start back fully on SparkPeople at the same time (too much help is never a bad thing) and with the enduring support I find on SparkPeople how could I possibly stay away.

I hope you are all doing well or at least like me finding your way back on track. Have a SPARKLING day! emoticon

WOW I cant believe hat the last time I was here was 35 days ago right before my cruise to Bermuda which was LOVELY! Bermuda is a beautiful island but I can NEVER live there its far tooo expensive. A 12 pack of toilet tissue that I pay $6 for here in CT is $42 in Bermuda!!!

On November 3, I had my hysterectomy and everything went great! I was only on pain meds the day of the surgery. I am now home recuperating and plan to be out of work until Dec 19th or Jan 3. I have my followup appt this Friday.

I worked out a few times on the cruise ship but on a serious note I have not worked out in about 3 nonths and will not be able to work out again until January and I am READY for that.

I hope you all have been well and seeing positive results.

Welcome back! I'm glad your cruise was nice. I'm also glad your surgery went well. Are you able to do arm curls while you are recouping? You'll get back on track when it is safe for you to do so. Until then, take care of yourself!

I am out of here in 2 more days. I'm excited and will not think about whats going on once I get back (hysterectomy) but I will also have a brand new "just for me" full bathroom.

I completed and turned in Family Medical Leave Act paperwork to my employer yesterday. I am scheduled to be out of work for recuperation 4-6 weeks and boy am I excited about that. I also expect to pack on a few pounds due to the fact that I will be shifted down to no-to-light duty and have lifting restraints. I don't care about gaining because once I get clearance I will be right back in the gym.

In ANY event Bermuda bound is alll that I have on my mind right now...whats on your mind?

I know you will have a blast on your trip. You will get your own bathroom. That is awesome. After your hysterectomy, you might lose weight instead of gain. I lost weight after mine. I think that was the first time I could see my feet without looking over a big stomach. Either way, you will do great and be back in the gym before you know it. Can't wait to see the lovely pics when you get back.

Have a great time in Bermuda. I went there years ago, it was beautiful then and I am sure it is now. Enjoy! As for what happens when you get home, don't worry about it, give it to God and he will take care of it for you. :-)
