Go get help! Even the mini strokes are not something worth messing with. If they last long enough brain tissue does die.

What kind of work do you do? It's not good to dread work. It can eventually make you sick.

Not good. Pray that you don't feel like that every day you have to go to work. Not healthy to be unhappy every day. lk

A very trying day

Thursday, September 24, 2009

I got up this morning and before I even got out of bed my mind was racing. I waas thinking about so many things all at once. I thought to myself {oh boy it is going to be one of those days and it sure was.

I make lists before I go to bed at night of what I need to do the next day. Then when I get up I take a walk and then review that list before heading off to work.

I stop and make a list of what needs to be done. I then decide what really needs to be done and what can wait. Life can be overwhelming- sometimes setting certain routines can help too.
Sending positive thoughts your way for a good tomorrow.

That's how I feel when I have a mood swing. Racing thoughts & an inability to concentrate. The other side of the coin can be depression. It's called Bipolar Illness & can be treated. It's a chemical imbalance & I have it. It's not a mental illness at all. Have you seen a doctor about your symptoms?

Hang in there.

I've found that, by acting cheerful, you will become that way by the end of the day. In other words, if you keep saying that you're great, after a while you'll actually feel that way. Research supports this, too.

Hang in there.

Another day

Tuesday, September 22, 2009

Another day that I had off rom work and I accomplished just about nothing. Between my physical state and my mental state I feel like the biggest loser. I just cannot shake the funk that I have been lately. emoticon

You sound like you're suffering from depression. Just because you feel like a loser doesn't make you one. Have you talked to a doctor about your depression? There are a lot of medicines that help a lot. I should know - I'm Bipolar. With proper medication (I take Lexapro) I no longer suffer from depression. Talking with a trained professional would probably help as well. I know that it did me. In fact, I still see a psychologist at my local hospital's Mental Health Program. It's a big help.

When I wake up feeling 'blah' I just tell myself "Okay, so you don't feel like doing anything". So don't. And I don't feel guilty. Sometimes I just do something nice for myself.

I might make the whole thing sound easy. It takes work, though.

Be nice to yourself.

HANG IN THERE. YOU'LL MAKE IT!

With working too much and not getting time for yourself life really takes its toll. Try to do a little something for yourself tonight if only for 5 minutes. It took me forever to learn to do this but it works wonders. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I agree with Melly. Have you thought about looking for some type of support group in your area for people with anxiety?
