Almost made it through P90X, 11 weeks completed

With 2 weeks left of completing P90X I developed some medical problems which required taking some time off exercise and having some tests done. I made it through week 11 and week 12 was really the last week with week 13 a rest schedule. I got the results of my tests taday and all is well and much less serious than suspected. I got the OK to go back to exercise, yay.

So, I did not get RIPPED this round but I did accomplish a lot. I did more than I thought I ever would. I was consistent, I saw my progress by feeling stronger and increasing my weights. My form got better and I was able to do more of the moves without modifying. The thing I did not do, however, was follow the food plan which is a big reason why I don't see more muscle definition. All in all, I am very happy with the results. Every time I completed a workout I felt more empowered.

So, this week and next I'm going to continue with cardio and yoga and take 2 weeks rest from weights as is recommended. I have also started the foodplan that I lost 100 lb. on again. I am already seeing results.

This round I plan to get ripped and back to my goal weight.

I'm very excited!!!!!

Working the P90X nutrition plan

W4, D4 and going strong with the exercise. My food, however, could be better, much better. I am going back to my old pattern of grazing. I made a few poor food choices over the last month but not many. Basically, I'm grazing on healthy food. That does not support my goal of losing weight. So, I'm tracking my food again in the food tracker. That eliminates all the guesswork and tells me exactly where I'm at caloriewise and nutrientwise.

I have a friend who started the program with me and she is looking amazing. She has lost weight but has not gotten on the scales. She's lost numerous inches including 2 inches off her thighs. She, unlike me has followed the P90X nutrition plan pretty faithfully. I'm not going to compare my success to hers but I am going to use that to encourgagement to stay focused with my food. Once again it proves what I already know...............................You follow the plan (any plan) you lose. You don't follow the plan you don't lose. emoticon

    I started tracking my food again on the tracker and was rewarded with a 3# weight loss this week. I am doing Power90
for 90 days and plan on starting P90X May 1st.

Week 4 day 3 and I'm feeling stronger. I'm a little tired right now but feeling great. Not much else to report right now except that it's a good tired and I'm off to bed.

P90X Week 2 Day 4

Today was yoga x and I completed the entire routine. Last week I only did 1/2 of the DVD but today I pressed on and completed it. Whew, it was no pice of cake and I modified a lot of the moves. Several moves I could not do at all. But, I'm focusing on progress and not perfection. I am eating better and feeling strong. I may never look like the pros on the DVD but I'll be the very best I can be.

I did the Legs and back and Ab ripper X routines. I did it at the gym with a friend who has started with me. It's not all pretty yet but I'm feeling stronger each time I do the Ab ripper X. I am so encouraged. When I'm done I feel really good and not worn out. Plus, I feel a great sense of accomplishment.
