I DID IT!

Ok, I've tried blogging twice already and every time, it freezes on me. So, I'm going to make this short and sweet. My friends and I climbed Mt. Whitney on June 26th. It was absolutely amazing. We only had a one day permit, but we made it to the top. It took 10 1/2 hours to summit to 14,501 ft of elevation. The whole trip was 22 miles and we did it in 17 1/2 hours. Truely an amazing feeling and what a great accomplishment. I will hopefully post some pictures in the next few days.

Wanted to get this up so my team can get our points.

It's been awhile!!

O.K., so it's been awhile since I blogged. Busy? You betcha. But, I have to do this for 2 of my team challenges that I'm on. I'm supposed to post my goals for the month and what I hope to accomplish. That's for one of my teams. The other team, I have to blog about what I learned from the challenge. so, here goes:

My goals for this month are to get ready for my big hike in June. along with 3 other friends, we are hiking up Mt. Whitney. I am so excited and cannot wait to accomplish this. I am working hard to be in the best shape ever. so, I'd like to be down at least 5 pounds by the end of June for the climb. The month of May started and I'm ready to go.

For my other team, Biggest Loser Lemon Team, I thought it was a great challenge. I watch the Biggest Loser every week and I always wish that I could be on the show. Not for the weight loss (I don't have that much), but for the challenges and workouts. don't get me wrong, I work out. But, to have that experience with Jillian for a month would be a dream come true. I wish they would have a show for those of us who have 10 pounds to loose, but need that extra push. Hey, I don't even want to win money. I just want to meet Jillian, and workout with her. I guess, being on the Lemon team, was the closest I'll get to the Biggest Loser. I hope everyone on my team, as well as the other teams, enjoyed this as much as I did and accomplished what they set out to do. Maybe they'll have another one in the summer.

And with that, I have posted a blog again. I didn't loose the 10 pounds, but it's coming off slowly. This time, I hope it's for good!! emoticon

  


My weigh in at Weight Watchers

Alright, so last night I got to weigh in at Weight Watchers. Excited? You betcha. I lost 2.2 lbs this week. That's a total of 6.4 lbs. since I started. I have to say that I am very proud of myself. I'm feeling good and looking good. I got a great compliment from a dad in school yesterday. What more can you ask for?! emoticon

It's Saturday

I was a little nervous to get on the scale this morning because we went out to dinner last night (a last minute thing). Not that I over ate or anything, but I didn't plan ahead. However, the scale was nice to me. Now, I have to get through tonight. We are going out again for dinner, but, I think I'll be o.k. We're going a little later than usual (7:45), so I think I'll just order a salad and appetizer (or share an entree w/ hubby). It's so hard to add this stuff into the nutrition tracker. I'll do my best!! Until tomorrow.....

Feeling Good

Yeah, the scale moved today. It was going back between two numbers and finally settled on the higher of the two, but it's less then yesterdays weight. I am so excited. Now, I just have to stay on track and be good until I weigh in on Monday at WW. OOh, I hope it's good.
