After kind of a blah week for motivation, I am determined to catch up to where I should be in my workout schedule for t25. I kind of took a few days off last week for my BF's birthday and this week with the miserable weather, I wasn't feeling like doing anything let alone workout.
I got back into it though despite myself and I have been nailing all my workouts. I am starting to notice changes already and I am only just finished week two. The other day after my workout I went to my BF and said that I can feel my thigh is really toning right above my knee, especially when I do a knee hold. I held my knee up in a 90 degree angle and said to feel it and he said "I can SEE it". That is awesome. I am not only just feeling the changes in my body even if I can't see them yet, they are definitely visible.
I just powered through Total body circuit and Speed 1.0. I find total body circuit to be really tough. I am not a plank and push up person and there is a lot of planking/push ups in that video. I pushed through and didn't even have to modify and follow Tania.
Speed 1.0 is quickly becoming my favourite workout of the Alpha phase. I just find it is do much fun. I pre-watched most of the workout videos before I did them and I wasn't sure about it at first but I just love this video. I feel so exhilarated after I finish it.
Tomorrow will be another two workout day for me and then Tuesday will be my official double day. Then I should be all caught up and have two glorious days of rest. I may or may not do the stretch video on Thursday but I haven't decided yet. I haven't tried that video as I have just been taking days off. It might be good for me to do.
My goal is to finish the Alpha phase before I get my tonsils out. I want to be able to do the whole program straight through but as long as I finish Alpha I will be happy. I haven't decided yet if I am going to go into Beta phase when I can workout again or re-do the Alpha Phase. I will see how I feel when the time comes and I am well enough to exercise again.
