Today has been one of those days where it seems like every minutes is filled to the max.
I was up at 7:00 AM, showered, weigh-in, and got dressed. Then the fun began. Went to the bank, payed my bills, my DMIL's bills, went to the pharmacy and then ate breakfast - all before 9:45 AM.
The doc's appointment was 75 miles away nso that ate up part of the morning. Doc's appointment was 1 hour. Then I did my grocery shopping for the month. Imagine my shock when I realized that I had grabbed the wrong notepad and didn't have my list. Thank God i have a good memory. From there it kind of went down hill. My DH hates shopping and is more hinderance than help. My MIL was confused by the size of the store and totally overwhelmed. Needless to say, it was a long afternoon.
But the evening was . Got in my 2 miles walk for 5k Your Way, Day 1 of the Sweatsuit to Swimsuit Challenge, and strength training to boot! 170 minutes of exercise and 571 calories burned! What a way to end to day!

While logging some entries, I checked my SparkPoints. I was amazed to see that I have been a member of this site for 431 days!
No, I haven't met my goal and have actually changed my goal date several times. Part of the problem was life, part procrastination and part mental block. But that's OK. I am learning more about me as I go and have met many new friends. Along the way, I have dropped 29.4 pounds, gotten a waist, dropped from a women's size 22 to a size 18.
Saturday, the Summer 5% Challenge begins. This is my 6th 5% Challenge and I am still learning so much about myself. Who would have thought that my first challenge would have me becoming one of the team leaders of this amazing challenge. I never would have even considered this if not for the encouragment of the Challenge Leaders of the challenge.

This morning I weighed myself and low and behold, it looked like I had broken my plateau - 188.4! But 6 pounds since Saturday morning???? So I took my shower and weighed myself again - about 5 minutes maybe. I couldn't believe what I saw! The scale now read 190.4! I gained 2 pounds while in the shower. Could my wet hair have added 2 pounds?? I don't think so!
So here is my dilemna. Which weigh-in do I use? Hmmm, 188.4 sure looks a whole lot better than 190.4 don't you think? Check out my ticker and see which I used.
Well, I am out to my flower beds and plant daylilies and then work on another. I really love Spring!

Last night I went to my water aerobics class. When I finished, I felt like every muscle and joint in my body was loose and very limber. It felt terrific. I had forgotten how good I felt after a good water aerobics class. And I like a baby after.
Tuesday and today (Thrusday) I have been working in my garden. Creating new flowerbeds is hard work. I have 1 done and 1 more to go. Then I have to work on clieaning out another bed. Sundrops and daylilies anyone?? I will have plenty to spare.
Tomorrow morning I head back to the pool for a water aerobics class and possibly a yoga class. It feels so good to workout again.
