It has taken me a couple of extra days to get to week two day three on the couch to 5k program I am doing. I fell off the treadmill the other day. Don't ask me how but I did. Anyway, it was hot today...and my little voice was saying all sorts of negative things...but I pushed that little voice down and did what I had to do and finished! I sweat like I never have before but I finished and that is why I am proud !

Today I wanted to share how much I appreciate my dog. We got him as a puppy two years ago. He was and is still so cute. A pug and a jack russell mix. Curly tailed and kind of barrel chested. The reason I appreciate him so much is he is a great workout partner for me. We both have short legs and are a little on the round side. We are able to walk together and when we run we are able to keep up with each other. He loves our daily walks and our jogs so much. I couldn't have asked for better encouragement to get out the door than him spinning in front of it! Thanks Wally!

    Gotta love our dogs!! I always say the same thing... I got my pitty sort of around the same time that I started this journey. He is so high energy and if he doesn't go for a walk everyday he gets crazy so its forces me to get out walking. But now I love it and he is the best walking partner ever!! emoticon

Started the couch to 5k rookie running program tuesday! Day two down today!!! Signing up for the color run in Providence RI in October. Will give me plenty of time to train before then! I am feeling so good!!! Ditching the scale and just taking care of me! Maybe this was the secret all along!

Eating primally, exercising daily. Finally seem to have a handle on everything! Feeling better than I have in as long as I can remember. Wanting to make these . permanent . Just want to live the rest of my life with health and vitality! So happy!

Just read my last blog post from over two years ago...wish I had continued to think that way. I have stumbled since, got back up, and stumbled again. I have learned from my mistakes. I know that lower carb/primal is the way to eat for me if I want to feel my best. Given up the scale. Eating non processed fruits, veggies and meats. Feeling so much better. My sinuses are clear for the first time in I don't know how long. I mean without having surgery! I am determined to continue this way of life because it is what works for me.
