We started a biggest loser competition on 1/11/12 that ended today and I won!!

There were 13 of us in all and although I wanted to lose 20 pounds and did not make it I still lost 18.3 and got first place winning the $260 first place prize money!!

I have set my next goal and lowered it a bit as my weight loss has slowed down some. My next goal is to lose 8.3 pounds by 4/25/12. This is something I should be able to do no problem!!

    I want to save it to go shopping when I hit my goal but we will see. Our group of 13 people lost 88.2 pounds in all and some are so excited they want to do it again. Sounds like we will be doing another round from 4/4 to 6/13. We will see how many sign up this time!!

    Thanks everyone for the kind words!! I am hoping to put this away towards my shopping spree when I reach my ultimate goal but with going to PT at work we will see if it lasts.

Although it has been really great hearing co-workers and family tell me how good I look and ask how much weight I have lost it is so amazing to hear you are on the right track. I had an appt with Occupational Therapy today to work on some stuff for my migraines and when we talked about eating and exercise she was really pleased with where I was at. Obviously I can still do some tweaking but I am on the right track. Now we can focus on relaxation and stress relievers so I can get rid of these daily migraines.

HELP NEEDED!!

Okay I have 4 weeks to loose 8.3 pounds!!

How can I do this? I feel like I am in a rut.

Looking for any good advice, run activities, or recipes.

    I have signed up for challenges but have not really been able to stick to them with FT work and school. I am sticking to my food and working out and I am darn proud of that accomplishment. I have a coworker who is an MA on here as well.

I do usually get at least 104 oz of water in if not more lol. My coworkers laugh at my 52 oz water bottle I bring with me every day.

    Nice to meet you. It's good to know I'm not the only MA in MN and on spark. Have you done any challenges on spark yet? Do you belong to any teams? You can do it, 8 lbs. not that much. emoticon increasing your water may help too emoticon Good luck.

    Try advocare herbal cleanse. It's all natural a great product and it cleans you so your body can adsorb all the nutrients it needs. It's not like other cleanses and it is gentle. It's 10 days long today is my last day and i feel great. It's not a magic thing either you still have to eat right and it tell you what kind of food you should eat!

    I don't know how much sugar you eat, but when I cut that down a little, the scale liked it.

    Thanks!! I was thinking I may need to change up the workout a bit. I have increased the incline and intensity on the cross trainer but have not tried other equipment for my cardio. I don't feel the bike or treadmill is as good of a workout but I will have to try them again. Thanks!

    Try changing up your workouts. Tweak your eating. You may be eating too little food. And that can stall your loss big time. If you tend to eat the same foods everyday, try incorporating other foods. You even might want to try having a high calorie day to reset your body again.

Had a great birthday weekend!!

Had time to celebrate with friends with dinner and bowling on Saturday and it was a BLAST!!

My AMAZING boyfriend got me a new bike for my birthday so I am stoked for nicer weather to get out and ride.

Today I come to work and we are having angel food cake and strawberries to celebrate. Not only is this my favorite but healthier as well.

To make it even better I have had at least 3 people comment on how good i look and ask how much weight I have lost. I need days like this to help me see that I am doing the right thing here!!

Thanks again for all the birthday love. I am truly feeling it with all the emails I received.
