Last night, I called my good friend Suzanne and shared with her the "3 Me Things Daily" strategy.
One benefit I realised than is that in doing so, my appetite is affected. I mean, I feel less the urge to binge at night. I even eat a little less. I feel fuller sooner than before. Somehow, taking care of me fills a profound need that food couldn't succeed in doing so.
I can also forecast that soon, I'll introduce back things like "exercising" or "moving" or "dancing" in my daily routine as something I would to "for me". Not because it's good life habit nor because I should do it. But because it makes me feel good.
Here's a motivation I can stick with!

It's still quite subtle but the change is here.
Since last week, I've being attracting positive people in my life ( or maybe I've being drawn to them ?) Anyway, change is coming and it feels good.
Yesterday, I did 3 things for me as I worked from home.
I eat mindfully. I did my yogurt. I finished every thing on my to-do list for the day.
Today, as I'll be out in meetings all day, I plan 3 goods things for me as well : buying a Decoration magazine, doing qigong and accept our friend invitation for Saturday night diner.
Just like the sun rise earlier daily, I too become brighter for longer every day.

Yesterday was a good day, as today :)
Went to see a beautiful movie "Monsieur Lazhar" which is nominated for a "Best foreign language Movie" at this year Oscar's
Bough 2 lips sticks
Walk for 30 minutes
... and didn't drink wine with diner!
Today, I'll make my famous Chili Sin Carne so I have good lunch next week
I'll help DH clean up the basement - making room for painting next summer
and... I listened to my favorite Cuban Music while we had breakfast.
This 3 things a day really are working for me. It's lifting my spirit in a very good way.
I'm more satisfied with my life - prouder of me.
And I can see where it's going, introducing healthy habit along the way.

Saturday morning, I usually do qigong.
Today, there is no group meeting. So I'm free.
I'm planning on going to see a movie with DH this afternoon.
Landry is done.
House is clean.
Nothing needs my attention.
I'm relaxing and gazing.
Yesterday, I did good with my 3 daily things. I discovered a nice place at lunch time (scallops and quinoa, how about that) and I though about breathing while teaching and of course, the salutary long soaking in the bathtub really hit the spot!
I haven't set things to do for me today yet.
Going to te movie is already a treat.
Spending time with DH also - were talking about next summertime vacation...
O - I know : i'll go for a walk before movie time. That's it.

Dear Sparkling Friends,
What a support system you've being for me!
Yesterday, as I was driving to work, my favorite songs playing on the car, I couldn't keep from smiling. A real smile, coming from the bottom of my Heart. Me-Thing 1: Check!
At lunch, I kept a conscious mind with every bite of those yummy gnocchi. Me-Thing 2:Check!
Last night, we had a quiet diner, DH and I, talking about carriers moves and futures plans for both of us. Me-Thing 3: Check.
As I recap my day, before I went to sleep, that special smile was back again on my lips.
There is nothing like the "reality test" to find out how really effective are those "happiness theory" we share.
So, let's try it out once again today.
Today, I'll take the time to breath deep and slowly at least 3 times as I'm teaching 2 classes today
I'll have lunch in a healthy place, eating peacefully and mindfully.
I'll celebrate Friday Night with a long hot bath tonight.
