Ok, I still have a very, very long way to go and I have lost a little over 8 pounds. Time to step it up - - can I really lose 30 pounds in 31 weeks? Not sure but I'm going to really try!

Doing well, still on track and loss 1.4 pounds this week. I am finding myself hungry so I need to find some fiber rich foods that will help to keep me full longer. Also, water helps with the cravings.

Ok, so it's been 12 weeks since I've blogged and yes, I've been in denial. I've been avoiding writing my thoughts because I have not been successful in my personal journey. So - I finally decided to do something about it - I joined weight watchers. Yes, I love my Spark family and the support I'm being given but I need to see faces and hear people. That's the way I work. I can't even do exercise videos at home because I need people around me - I'm a people person.

I joined WW two weeks ago and I lost 6 pounds my first week (of course I ate all my favorite 'bad' foods the week before I joined emoticon). So, I'm back on course and hopefully I'll get somewhere close to my goal by my birthday.

Wow, it's been 4 weeks since I've updated my blog and I gained! That's what happens when you stop being accountable for yourself. Ok, I can recover. This last week I've been on vacation and have not tracked my food - actually, I haven't tracked for about 3 weeks now. Obviously the tracking is what helps me stay on track.

Back to square one.

    emoticon Remember each day that you can get back up again.. I too had some struggles over vacation. But I have had some success by commiting to start over again..doing what I know for sure,,cutting out and decreasing foods, increasing activity..and keeping logged in ..My new project is to make a collage goal board,,putting it where I can see it..a daily reminder and affirmation to keep me focused on my goal..surely I will include a picture of my ideal.the steps to get there and a self check foe progresss...Also my Ace in the whole is a good friend and we share encouragement and reminders of goals per week and long term...best of luck..you can do it emoticon emoticon emoticon

Small loss this week - little less than a pound, but hey, again, I'll take it. I didn't make the best food choices earilier this week (business functions, social functions, family functions). I was afraid I was going to post a gain, but at the end there I straighten up my act.

Still have a long way to go on my journey, but I am makin slow but sure progress.
