it has been 3 weeks that i started back at spark people. I have not lost 1 pound.
I do cardio 5 times a week, during my cardio workouts on the treadmill i use hand weights. i ride my bike some of those days. i take my dog for a walk also.
i see my legs shaping up nicely also my arms are looking better.. but no weight lost.
I have decided to really throw myself in to tracking my food religiously .. i will not give up.. i will loose weight. maybe something just needs to click.. crossing my fingers it happens soon.

Do you like the way you LOOK in the mirror?
If the answer is YES, then it's working! Do you enjoy your cardio sessions? Do they make you feel good? If the annswer is YES, then it's working! emoticon

Eventually, the scale can't help but budge! Consistency like this pays off!!!

Once again i am on a mission. I was on here in Nov 2012.. i did loose some weight.. but fast i lost interested.. i have taken a real GOOD look at my self in the mirror, and i am not liking what i see.. I have set a date for my wedding, July 10,2014.. This is also my date for my goal weight.. We are getting married at Hilton Head on the beach.. so that means, looking good.
I have started off well the last week. getting up early in the morning before work to hit my treadmill and total gym.. i work out 30 minutes on my treadmill, using the weight loss programs on the treadmill. I switch them daily. Then i hit the total gym for about 20minutes.
Should i up the amount of time on the treadmill to 45 minutes a day? the programs are 30 minutes long. I change the program daily.. My treadmill has 4 different weightless programs.

thanks for your help
Make everyday count

Don't burn yourself out doing too much too quickly. Slow wins the race. Set small goals, once you reach those, add to them. For example, be proud of yourself that you are doing 30 minutes on the treadmill. Perhaps, in 3 to 4 weeks you can add more time another 30 minutes. Don't forget to eat wisely and you WILL reach your goals and be the MOST beautiful bride! emoticon

Wow it has been along time since i have been on spark people. I have so much going on, that i kinda just gave up with my weight lost goal.

My oldest daughter is serving in the army. She is a single mom. she has been sent to California to do her NTC training. Her training last till thanksgiving. This training gets her "ready" to be deployed in early February for a 9 month tour. I have taken on the responsibility of "raising" my grand daughter, she is 2 yrs old. This child has brought so much joy to my life. Seeing her on a daily basis is awesome. I love her. But it kicked my butt when she first came to stay with us.
Also my other daughter that is 21 has come to stay with us also.. She is taking care of the baby while i work. IT is an awesome thing to see my "girls" come together in a time of need and help out.. So my house is FULL.. I now have 2 of my kids there and my grand daughter. Also 3 dogs. 2 dogs are my military daughters, 1 dog is my 21 yrs old. so the house is full of LIFE for sure.
My bf hours have changed for his job.

So with all this going on.. I kinda just threw my weight loss to the side of the road.
but it is time to get my butt back on the right track again..

I took my walk at lunch time today.. yeah me..
i tracked my food, once again..
drinking my water..

I will get this going again and feel good once again..

hope everyone has an awesome day..

You do have a lot going on there, but it must be nice having your family together. When you have the will to succeed you find time for you even if it's only 5 or 10 minutes here & there. emoticon Also a very big emoticon to your daughter for her service to this country. emoticon mom. emoticon

It is an awesome feeling to have all my loved ones around.
Raising a soldier was and is a hard thing to do at times. But i am in it for the long run.. The joy she gives me when she comes home is awesome.. Now to get my butt in gear so that i am healthy to keep up my end of the raise my grand daughter while my daughter serves her country..

Boy, that is a lot going on. What a great feeling though having all your loved ones there. I admire and respect your daughter who is serving. And congratulations to you for raising a soldier. ;-)

It is time to get my butt back in gear.. I really haven't rode my bike at all this week. shame on me. i was under the weather a couple of days. I did manage to walk on my lunch break everyday last week. I walk for 25 to 30 minutes. I also walked on my treadmill a couple of days. I haven't really tracked my food in a couple of days. i did eat a few junk foods this week.. so today i am getting my butt back at this weight loss goal.

Tomorrow is Saturday,I plan on getting up and working out on my total gym, then to pick up my dad. He is in a wheelchair from a car accident 2 years ago. We are taking him to the Cleveland zoo. He is excited to go.. We are all going together. My 14 yr old daughter and her friend, my 21 yr daughter and her bf, ME and my honey. It has been a ruff 2 years for my dad. lots of surgeries. so i am looking forward to the time spent with him and the family.

On the Cleveland zoo website they have the walking distance around the zoo.. it is right @ 5 miles. I am hoping to get some cardio in trying to keep up with my dads electric wheelchair ( that thing can move) and the distance we will do.

long weekend this weekend with Labor day.. My goal is to workout daily for at least 1 hr each day.
everyone enjoy there Friday..

It is great that you are getting back on track!! I think that we all have these times when our routine becomes less than stellar. But the important thing is not to let it totally spiral out of control. That is when we end up in a world of trouble!! Sounds like you are in control of things emoticonHave a wonderful weekend with your family!!! emoticon
