Learning about my diet, or shall I say lifestyle change

I know tat 90% of losing weight it what you eat and I am learning that you can have some very delicious, satisfying food for not alot of calories. I often panic because I am only allowed 1,300 cals/day but this week I have incorporated some really delcious, nutrient rich and low calorie foods that will make this lifestyle change much easier.

    Those little tricks are what make you realize that you can enjoy a low calorie meal that is FULL of taste. And that is the KEY to being successful in changing your lifestyle.

Grande skinny Caramel Mach (my FAVE) at Starbucks and Spinach feta wrap-470 cals total. More calories than I usually have for breakfast but worth it. Of course this will not be an everyday occurance.

I also found a resource on Runner's World.com that will prepare me for my 10K in June. The plan charts out runs that you need to do over a 5-week period to help you build your endurance for the race. I am so excited to begin my transformation.

Training for a 10k (by myself). I have never been a runner and, frankly, I don't like running but I am committed to this but don't know how to push past this wall. I guess I will be ok running everyday. Anyone have any pearls of wisdom?

Today while in Whole Foods, I found something that is going to help me get through-SUGAR FREE cookies. Low cal, very low sodium, protein. This is going to allow me guilt-free "sugar" when I need it.
I also scored sugar-free protein bars which I will need on my work out days. And they are on sale today only.
