Whatever life throws at us, we must fight to uncover the hidden truths and our own strength to overcome them. I personally have had a lot of tragedy in my life from a boat accident in which my little brother passed, myself drowning, falling through the ice fishing, falling off a seadoo, an unsupportive family, abusive men, etc. No matter what truths are revealed, we have to pick ourselves up and be our own savior. We give our power away when we stay idle and use things like drugs, alcohol abuse, excess food, sex, cutting, whichever things we use to distract from the real issue. When you face head on the truth and deal with our emotions, we have to make our healing healthy. Exercise is one thing that really is the outlet for emotion.
Taking responsibility can bring you out of any situation because you then have the power to change. Being the victim will not pave any good direction and those feelings will eat you alive.
Being born into an evil family is one of those things that takes many years to detach yourself from and heal. You have fallen victim to illusions that block your visions of truths. Unburying yourself from the blinding lies and mistreatment is the fight of your life.
I was born a fighter, backpedaling to get away from that evil family in which I was born. I uncovered a lot of ugly truths and it took me so many years to realize that their problems are not mine. How they see me is something I need not care about. Although there are a lot of sad happenings, I cannot live in that sadness.
I have had to unlearn the mechanisms I was taught to cope with. Years of learning not to eat to solve problems is really paying off.
People who hold excess weight have to be sure that they don't have blinders on to the truths that exist. They have used food to solve issues and this is not a remedy for issues. We must relearn how to deal with issues because we live in a cruel society and we fall victim just having a less than slender appearance.
With my 2 triple digit weight losses, the life lessons I have uncovered are in abundance. You can be dealt so many bad hands in life and you must have your eyes open. Being a detective is the best way to get to the bottom of things. We cannot blindly accept what we think things are, we must dig to the truth.
No matter how hard the fight, we must fight to live healthy, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. We must see the opportunity in misfortune because it is a lesson to use later and share.
