I found a true passion for exercise when I started Zumba. It is an intensive exercise activity that burns a lot of calories and is difficult, but you are having so much fun while doing it that you don't mind the hard work!
When I first started a group Zumba class at a gym, I was very obese and it hurt bad for a long time to do this exercise. I am pleased to say, after 1 year of Zumba, I am pain free while doing Zumba 3 hours a week!!! I don't regret a second of Zumba time and it was worth sticking with!
My passion for Zumba was ignited by a breast cancer survivor, a mother of 4, a hard worker in all aspects of life, she was very obese and has completely changed her life!
Zumba is an exercise that I don't need to be pushed to do, when it is ZUMBA TIME, I grab my things and RUSH to class! It provides me with exposure to other women who have passion for exercise.
NOT all instructors or dvds are created EQUAL, don't give up after 1 or 2 sessions of Zumba and try different instructors or dvds if you don't initially like it. Find a CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR or the ZUMBA EXHILARATE DVDS.
I am going to be starting ZUMBA TONING next week to eliminate the fat and tighten skin on my arms which is my worst area. I am so excited to get my new Zumba toning sticks and work hard at being the best I can be!
Some day I hope to be a Zumba instructor to share my passion for the exercise that has done so much for my health!

To my fellow Health Warriors:
The health journey is one every individual on the planet should make and all of us are worth that at the very least!
With all the responsibilities of life, it is anything but easy to care for yourself. Also there are many people who do you wrong and make it difficult to feel worthy as a person.
I am hear to see to you that no matter how tired, no matter how many responsibilities, if you don't feel worthy of health, any excuse that may come to mind, PLEASE, disregard everything that comes to mind and DO what is going to be good for your health!
Do intense workouts, pushing beyond what you thought you could do. Eat according to what your body needs, seek that knowledge and utilize it. Realize that your body has an alternative plan to what you would prefer and are working for.
Despite the NUMBER on the scale, there is SOOOOO much MORE to HEALTH! Intense workouts and eating well will bring you to the end result and NEVER EVER give up because of the NUMBER you see! With hard work and proper Nutrition, you will reach the desired number but it DOESN'T happen easily!
Discouragement is to blame for so many failures in the Health Department. BEGINNERS want results and they have to realize that results should be health related, yes it is nice to see the numbers drop on the scale BUT it is bittersweet to see the clothes become looser and the muscles start to show! For those on the LONG HAUL, you know the taste of victory and the crushing defeat on the scale, HANG IN THERE and PUT IN THE HARD WORK!
PLEASE NEVER GIVE UP and BELIEVE!!!!
