you may have wondered how I am doing while on vacation here in Utah. Well, every day we go quad riding, I am doing the best I can with my food and have tried to keep it in the parameters and am doing fairly well with that. But the biggest thing I am happy about is, I have walked every day. You may have read I had a goal to walk around this cabin area and I have completed the entire circuit for the last 2 days!! (the first day, I cut about 3/10 of a mile off). I am really happy with my progress, making the most of my choices and enjoying how much better I feel since the last time I was here. I look better, and feel better, and people are noticing which is really cool. My sister is here with me and it really helps having her support and keeping me motivated to keep moving!

We are up here at the cabin in Beautiful Utah! MY goal was to walk around the cabin area so I tracked it last night, thinking it would be well over 2 miles. It is actually about 1.25 miles, which is close to what I walk at home. There is some incline and some beautiful scenery so that made a pretty cool walk. I cut over on a small path which cut off about .20 of a mile but it gives me something to work towards. Man, the air is thin up here tho!!! Hope you are all well and I will blog more when I can! Well my peeps, I am outta here. Going to the mountains in Utah, near flaming gorge. I will walk, ride quads, fish, eat healthy (but probably drink more than I would at home). We are going for about 10 days and I am just going to enjoy it and make the best choices I can. It is a 14 hour drive, split into 2 days. My sister is coming with us and she has the healthy snacks taken care of. I will have my Sparkpeople.com access but not a scale so I wont know overall how I do till I get home but I feel pretty comfortable with my plan now to be able to adhere to it.
I will be logging my food, blogging if possible, and living my life in a new way! Hope you are all well and remember, stay on track and live your life! Jan

I cannot believe how strong you have been! Look how hard you have been working and the success you have had because of it. I am so proud of how you decided to change your life, how you have followed your plan, made your goals, have made so much progress and are still going strong.
The blogs that you write and the support you offer others is very encouraging. I applaud your efforts to be involved, to connect, to succeed, to motivate and inspire.
I love how you think ahead to situations, make a game plan and stick to it. I love that you do not beat yourself up but truly understand that this is your LIFE and some days, you just are not going to be perfect. You are going to have that drink or that cookie and it is OK! You are in this for the long haul, nothing is going to stop you because you really GET IT!
People are really noticing how much weight you have already lost.
I know that it feels fantastic to fit better in your clothes and that you are looking forward to new clothes and you better get some soon, cause what you are wearing is way to big.. What are you waiting for anyway?
I just wanted to give you a thumbs up, you are doing great. I wont tell you to "keep it up" or "stay focused" because I already know you are.
