Ooohhh, I'm so excited!! I have some new blog followers! I love your comments and input so please keep coming back for more. I'll do my best not to bore you.
Core Syn today and I did good! I began every move as instructed and only had to modify a handful in order to keep going for the intended time. My push ups are SO much better than they were last round! FYI, I completed Phase one and began Phase two but then life got in the way and I lost my motivation,.... temporarily. I'm back now and I am SO ready for it this time. I do have a couple of short trips durign the next 90 days that will knock me off track slightly but I will find an alternative for those times, evenif it's just walking.
I will also confess that I HATE indoor exercise when it's nice out. Living in NNY, we don't get a whole lot of "nice out", so I may opt for outdoor cardio from time to time.
Oh yeah, I was able to get in a 6.5 mile bike ride last night, which was awesome! Then a very good friend informed me that I had just done a Doubles routine. You see, she's doing Doubles right now and I accused her of beign insane. Guess she's contagious cuz I've decided to give doubles a shot, with my own choice of cardio added. And Yes, it will be outside cardio.
So, we'll see if I can keep it up this time around. I think the key will be to forgive myself when time doesn't allow my workout and pick up where I left off the next chance I get.

I finally found my mojo and I'm back on track with Tony. Did Cardio X this AM and was totally amazed at how easy it was for me to keep up. I've decided to start over again because I'm starting BLC Round 13 today and they both last for 90 days.
I got my sweat on big time! The humidity in the air played a huge part, I'm sure. I made it through the routine without pausing the dvd once. What shocked me the most was how good my push ups were. A huge improvement over my first Day one, that's for sure.
I spent my weekend purging all the negative thoughts from my head and binging on positive ones. I can't believe how much better I feel about myself, my life, my routine, my everything. That is something I will continue to remind myself to do.
It's great to be back and to have a positive outlook to go with it.
BRING IT BABY!

Wow! two weeks since I've exercised officially. Sure I've done some walking, etc. in the past two weeks, but nothing like the P90X I was doing. What can I say? Life got in my way. You know the drill. Too much on my to-do list, not enough hours in a day, stress, putting everyone else before me, stress, taxes, kids, stress, .... did I mention stress? Well, I'm certain the stress isn't going anywhere anytime soon but my to-do list is looking somewhat organized and has a few things checked off so I've decided it's time to put me first again. I'll be starting BLC13 in a few weeks so in the meantime I'm going to focus on getting my ducks in a row again. 64+ oz of water daily, calories logged and in range, healthy foods including freggies, exercise done and logged daily. All thew things I know I need to do for me so I can see less of me again. I'm considering doing just cardio between now and the start of BLC13 and then starting over the P90X lean routine to coinside with the 90 days of the challenge. I did Cardio X today and I can definitely tell I've had two weeks off. The chicken in me thinks my plan is a good one but the slave driver in me is telling me not to wimp out. To just pick up at Phase two and bring it. I'll have to really think about this one. I have Core Syn tomorrow so I figure I have til Wed to decide.
In the meantime, today's workout was 46 minutes long and I burned 327 calories. Now I'm off to shower and head outside. I have rhubarb to plant and horses to groom. It's good to be back. I can already feel the endorphins boosting my outlook and energy level. Why on earth did I stray in the first place?
