yes, i must say this is going to be a great day. i'm down another 1.8lbs this week. can we say woohoo??? that makes me at 8lb loss since starting spark people on dec. 31. i'm so proud of the steps and accomplishments i have made to date. i must say i'm never hungry and i love the exercise. i don't think i would of been ready for this in my younger years, which is when i should of taken on this change, but i do so enjoy the walks, and strength training. i must say thankyou to cat once again for getting me to this site and all the great people i have encountered along the way. the message boards a wonderful and they let me know i'm not alone. till next time keep sparking.

last chance before weigh in

here it is again the last day before a weigh in. sometimes it seems the week just flys by and sometimes it seems to drag. i guess it matters how my weeks are going. if i'm on schedule and doing what i'm suppose to it seems to take a long time for friday to arrive, but let me be not do so great and wow it is here before i can even blink. lol. i guess that is why we should treat this as a lifestyle and not a d i e t. that way we are always on the right path. whether we eat cake or carrots we are aware of what we are doing and meant for that to happen. with me it seems evenings are the worse. i have curbed the urge the last couple of nights but i have to tell you it is a work in progress and i have to actually talk myself out of heading to the fridge or cupboard. i seem to have control all day long but let the sun go down and i turn from jekle into hyde. i guess that is why this is a work in progress and will be for sometime to come. i;m happy with the results i've seen so far, i'm down about six pounds, four inches, and my clothes and such feel loose and comfortable. i wore a belt to work yesterday and that is a first. next i might even tuck in my shirt, oh the glory in that. lol. oh well till tomorrow guys keep sparking.

    You are so right. It is about changing our relationship with food forever. That is why I am not dieting. lol See my page for more about that.
I also have the same problem at night. It is when I am settling down to wind my day down to get ready to head for bed. If I am watching TV when a commercial comes on I head to the fridge. Not cause I am hungry but because it is a habit. I am starting to notice my food triggers and I am beating them more and more.
You well too. Just stay away from the guilt cause it can ruin all your hard work.

i don't usually blog daily but needed this one point for my next level on spark points. i know that sounds horrible to only blog for this, i do blog regurally i just try not to blog about nothing of importance if i can help it. this to me was very important. seeing my points move to the next levels means i'm doing all i can to help myself. if i don't do anything the sparkpoints don't move. if i do all i can they soar. i love this site and i feel i have to use all that is available to me and more. thanks guys for all this info and help. and till next time keep sparking.

here in alabama it is going to be in the 70's today. yeah for us....i think i will get outside and enjoy some of it. i have to do the restocking of the grocery bit first but then it should be smooth sailing the rest of the way. we (meaning my husband) are getting out garden tilled up today. fresh veggies to freeze i can't wait. have a great weekend and remember to keep sparking

OK SO MAYBE THE LOSS WAS JUST .2LB, BUT THE INCHES I LOST TOTAL 4 AND I FEEL WONDERFUL. SO I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THIS WAS A GOOD, NO GREAT WEEK. I'M TRYING MY BEST NOT TO RELY SO HIGHLY ON THE SCALE BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT IS JUST NOT GOING TO HAPPEN AT THIS POINT. I AM NOT WEIGHING DAILY AND THAT IS A HUGE STEP FOR ME. HOLDING OUT TILL FRIDAYS IS TOUGH AND I MUST CONFESS I DO CHEAT ON OCCASION. TRUTH BE TOLD THOUGH IT DOESN'T MAKE ME FEEL ANY BETTER. FIRST OFF I CHEATED ON MYSELF, AND SECOND IF THE SCALES ARE NOT IN MY FAVOR AT THAT POINT...WELL YOU KNOW WHAT THAT DOES TO A PERSONS PSYCHE!!! SO AS I SIT HERE WITH MY HEALTHY BREAKFAST( YES I'M MULTI TASKING) I HAVE TO THINK TO MYSELF, SELF YOU ARE DOING GREAT AND DON'T GIVE THE SCALES TOO MUCH CREDIT, THIS GIRL YOU HAVE DONE ON YOUR OWN. SO I'M OFF TO FINISH BREAKFAST, AND GET READY FOR WORK. I HAVE A LONG DAY AHEAD AND I NEED TO GET TO IT. KEEP SPARKING PEOPLE.
