Well it is another day. I stayed on plan, got in some exercise, and did a video this morning with coach nicole. Coach Nichol and I are becomng very good friends. I choose to do a video with here on most days of the week and the weekend brings with it two in one morning. If you have never tried them I have to recommend them. You choose and you can also choose the length. Somedays i go for the 10-15 min ones and other days i stick with a 5-7 min one. The choice is mine.
My eating is great during the day and out of whack in the evenings. Tonight was much better. Instead of a snack i had a ff hot cocoa. Seems to have worked, i'm not heading for the cupboard as of yet. If i could get this handle on my snacking after dinner i may be at goal sooner rather than later.
I guess that is about it for today. Nothing exciting to report, and i'm just thrilled that i'm still in the game. I'm going to get there from here one day at a time.

As I read these this morning I had to think of us on this wild journey. We have storms daily, some small cloud bursts some raging thunder and lightning. It is how we get past and through these storms that makes us fail or succeed on spark and in this new lifestyle we have embarked upon.
I'm choosing to purge ahead. Set my sails and fight the winds and enjoy the calm. Today is my day to shine. This journey is all what we make of it. I intend to get there from here. It may take a few raging storms, and a few calm nights but i'm getting there one step at a time.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

When I saw this quote this morning I knew this had to come to my blog. We all have a will to lose this weight, get healthy, and continue or begin this journey. It is up to us to find the way. Spark gives us the tools we just have to figure out which hand works best and how to use them.
This week I thought I had found a way by planning each day out in advance, it worked the first five days. Then last night I home and eat a healthy dinner, then sit down with popcorn (which in itself isn't bad) and then it hits.....the munchies. I still did ok and stayed in my points range but lets just say today is going to be very tough. I will have to stay right on to come out ahead this week. We all know that the weekends are the worse. But alas I have a new way today, i'm getting outside. Weather here is central alabama is going to be in mid sixties, sun shinning and i'm going to get outside and get in a run/walk, get some flower beds cleared out, and maybe even get some laundry hung. For me staying busy is going to be my way.
So in closing this blog I guess what we need to remember is where one idea may not work, there is plenty more where that came from. we are going to get there from here, it just may take a bit of planning and a few failures to get to the end result. Be patient. Good things come to those who wait.

WELL HERE I SIT, GETTING READY TO GET IN MY MORNING EXERCISE. THE GROUND IS WHITE OUTSIDE MY WINDOW, NOT FROM SNOW FROM FROST. REALLY I DON'T KNOW WHICH I WOULD WANT LESS. COLD IS COLD. I'M READY TO GET OUTSIDE AND RUN. THIS WEEKEND I THINK, SUPPOSE TO WARM UP.
SINCE I WON'T GO OUT IN THE COLD I WILL JUMP ON MY ELLIPTICAL AND GET TO IT. I'VE BEEN SAVING FOR A TREADMILL AND I WANT THE GOOD ONE SO I'M ABOUT HALF WAY THERE. CAN'T WAIT. SO DETERMINATION PAYS OFF. I SET A GOAL AND I'M STICKING WITH IT. BE IT WEIGHT LOSS OR SAVING FOR A MUCH COVETED TREASURE. THAT IS WHAT SPARK IS ALL ABOUT. SETTING GOALS AND ATTAINING THEM.
THIS MORNING I READ BLOGS WHERE SOME HAD LOST NO WEIGHT AND WANTED TO GIVE IN. THAT IS NOT AN OPTION. OH I SOMETIMES WHINE AND THINK I MAY WANT TO, BUT THEN I WAKE UP FROM THE MOMENT AND HELLO, I'M STILL GOING AT IT. YES I HAVE BAD WEEKS, AND YES I HAVE BAD MOMENTS BUT THAT IS WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT. WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE LEARNING ABOUT THE JOURNEY AND WHAT IT TAKES NOT ONLY TO GET THERE BUT TO STAY THERE. SO I SAY, LET'S NOT GIVE IN. IF YOU CAN'T GET OUTSIDE FOR THE WEATHER JUST GET UP AND MOVE. MOVE THROUGH THE HOUSE, MOVE IN A ROOM. JUST MOVE. LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO WASTE IT WONDERING IF YOU WILL GET THERE. WHY NOT JUST HEAD THERE.
TODAY IS A NEW DAY, AND I AM GOING TO GET THERE FROM HERE. ONE DAY AT A TIME.
