Play with life, laugh with life, dance lightly with life, and smile at the riddles of life, knowing that life’s only true lessons are writ small in the margin.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
Life is unpredictable and unknowable. Attempting to resist life leads to suffering. Yet, floating through life like a dead log also leads to a loss of all joy. For a meaningful and joyous life, gently guide the forces of life in the direction of your goals.
Visualize how the martial arts fighter uses the strength of his opponent against him. Use that principle in your encounter with life. Deflect the blows rather than allowing them to crush you.
ALRIGHT MY SPARK FRIENDS, LETS GIVE THIS JOURNEY ALL WEVE GOT. NO SLACKING, NO SAYING TOMORROW, NO NOT GETTING UP AND MOVING, AFTER ALL EXERCISE IS THE KEY.
I FOR ONE AND GIVING ALL I'VE GOT AND MORE. I HAVE A GOAL AND I WANT TO REACH IT THIS COMING YEAR. I GAVE MYSELF A SMALL RESOLUTION FOR THIS YEAR AND I AM GOING TO ACHIEVE IT. SO LETS GIVE THIS ALL WE HAVE PLUS AND MAKE THOSE CHANGES WE HAVE BEEN TELLING OURSELVES WE WANT.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.
It really is all we make of it. I plan to make it all I can. I have days when i want to just lay down and sleep, but movement is what is needed so i move. I'm moving in the right direction. At least in my mind which is what counts.
Today is my official weigh in for the week. I hope i moved in the right direction this week where that is concerned. I did wonderful all week until yesterday, had a moment.....cheese puffs. But after the moment or two passed i was sick on my stomach, not from guilt from the food....funny how we change. I thought i wanted them, and i have to admit while i was eating they tasted ok, then it hit me, like a ton of bricks. The sick feeling. and then it was over. no more chips, no dinner, still wasn't feeling good after a couple of hours. Lesson learned: not into that anymore, tummy can't handle it. The sad truth is now that i felt like that i won't want them anymore. I guess it was for the best.
So i move forward....onto a new day, new goals and new ideas. so to all my spark friends i say....we can get there from here. It may just take a few extra steps but we have our whole new lives to get there. This isn't a contest on who can reach the goal line first. This is your life. Enjoy the scenery along the way. And as i have learned with the cheese puffs sometimes you can't go back which is great. For me that means i'm heading in the right direcdtion. god bless this sunday. michelle.

People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily.
- Zig Ziglar
Courage doesn't always roar.
Sometimes courage is the quiet voice
at the end of the day, saying,
"I will try again tomorrow."
- Mary Anne Radmacher
True courage is taking another small step each day toward achieving your vision.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
As I read these quotes this morning how thought of how they are spark quotes. lets take the steps needed to get us to the finish line and beyond. michelle.

To reach a port, we must sail - sail, not tie at anchor - sail, not drift.
- Franklin D. Roosevelt
Anchors are very useful devices when we want to remain in one place, but too often we keep our lives anchored to the familiar even when we try to set sail.
Today, courageously hoist your anchor and set full sail in the direction of your goals.
I for one am ready to set sail. I have been coasting in the breeze for a while now but today I think i will open my sails and set a course for ME. After all i'm the one that counts on this journey. Not anyone else. I have to do this for me and only me. So one step at a time, one meal at a time, one movement at a time. I'm moving and sailing towards the ultimate goal, loveing myself.
I mean really who can love something that can't move without pain, can't say no to that donut, with every bite you take you are kicking yourself more and more but yet not stopping for one second. really do any of us want to be that person? No we want to set sail and let the wind take us where it will.
Let's set those sails today and head into the sunset. god bless each of you on this journey.
