Last chance day is the day before weigh in. My last chance to earn spark points, eat better, drink more water, move more. I always call the day before weigh in last chance because of the show "The Biggest loser" but really it is so very true. If you have maybe slipped up a day or two, or you may have not gotten in quite the amount of movement you would of liked this past week, well your last chance day is just the right time to play catch up with your routine.
For me it is the time to get it all together. Look over my week, plan for the next week, and wait in anticipation or in dreaded nervousness for the moment of truth. The moment I step on those scales and some of my hard work or not will stare back at me. In truth the scales don't show all the hard work you put in over the course of your week, sometimes they lack in that area, but still it is a moment to gather yourself up and prepare for the coming week. After all this journey is what you make of it.
This is what last chance day really means to me.
