I have decided to blog every day for 2013 & if I miss a day then I will post 2 of 1 day (like I will today)
I have decided that 2013 is the year that I get fit. No more half stepping - this time its no more excuses.
The first step for me to achieve this goal was to join the WIN SOME LOSE SOME CHALLENGE @ the local Gold's Gym; its a Biggest Loser Contest. I have rode my bike to the gym in the rain. I have not (thanks b to God) missed any of the wsls classes (I have to do 3 classes a week). I have also taken extra classes & gym time.
I also am using the 90 day walk challenge from wsls along w the 90 day exercise challenge from wsls. The walking isn't everyday & I do it as soon as La gets on her school bus. The walking also changes up to help challenge me. The exercise is basic & I was kind of already doing it; 3 day of strength training each day a different focus & 3 day os some type of aerobic exercise.
The one thing that I really have to work on is my eating habits. I have been working on eating something every 3 hrs; now to work on it being something healthy & not high in calories or fat. Not to mention that I have to figure out the calorie thing. Everything that I read says to do 1200 to 1400 calories a day to lose weight but sparks gives me about 1600 to 2000 a day. So until I figure this out I will be going back & forth. Like trying both ways @ one time (makes sense to me).
Hubby is helping me to focus when I am @ home. He is also bringing less snacks into the home and he makes sure that there is always a type of snack for me in the house.
I also have to work on figuring out the difference btween the calories that the spark says I should burn on a machine & what the machine says I m burning - I know that part of it is that the machines r for no weight setting & sparks calculates using my weight
