I Rode How Far

SAY WHAT
I rode 11 1/2 miles on the bycycle today n when u take away the stop time it took 135 minutes.

We started out to take the 3 mile rode to the grocery store; we come out of the sore n hubby wanted to go another way (he needed to find a store that sold blk paint n a hacksaw - we still dont have the hacksaw)

hubby doesnt understand the concept that the roads dont connect - there is generally 1 way to go n thats it - he is originally form NY n they say if u take enough lefts u will get where u want to get

I wonder y I m having trouble sleeping n not recovering from my constant pain - mayb it comes from all this walking n riding (neither 1 of us have our L's)

BUT I MADE A DECISION - I m going 2 get physically better
I M NOT GOING TO GIVE IN 2 THE PAIN - I M GONNA DO THIS
well now its time 2 get some rest - cause i think we over did it 2 day but had 2 get back home

    Probably some of the pain could be coming from riding so much, so get some rest between rides. :) Hang in there. :) HUGS!

    OH I WORRY ABOUT YOU, YOU DON'T HAVE TO TOTALLY GIVE IN TO PAIN BUT YA DON'T HAVE TO LET IT GET THE BEST OF YOU EITHER, TRY TO REST WELL IN BETWEEN RIDES, FUNNY THOUGH ABOUT HUBBY BEING FROM NEW YORK AND WHAT YOU SAID, LOL!

Don't Understand It

I have come to realize that i m going thru another of my depressions. I realized it as I was eating chocolate chip cookies; for the 2nd day in a row.
Not sure y I m depressed so I m just gonna try to stay busy. I will b crocheting dolls clothes for La for Christmas.

I have been exercising more n doing my daily strength training, now I'm just waiting 4 the scale to show me the hard work I've been doing.

Well gonna head to sleep still feeling run down n once I turn on the oven to cook I felt so much worse.

    emoticon You may be missing your family. Sometimes we don't think we have anything to be depressed about but we still are. Could be a chemical imbalance and more people have that than we know, me for one. Hugs!

Still a day behind on my blogs

been trying to rest so I been sleeping - not a good sleep either
been up n down tossing n turning

I'm just so drained even went to bed early after taking a nap but I dont really get any sleep
guess I gonna try the tylenol pm n c if it helps any

    Nothing is worse than not sleeping well...
I had SUCH a pleasant night last Fri; slept clear thru till 6 AM! Then it was back to the restless tossing n' turning on Sat & Sun nights.

my blog from yesterday didnt save I m sooo irritated I must have closed the laptop b4 it saved so I lost it

went bike riding w La n hubby; unfortunately I had an asthma attack on the way home n I've been using the nebulizer every 6 hrs since then
on top of that I developed another fever so no energy

I was not being realistic when I set up my December goals; soooo I've decided to modify them

I need to remember my limitations & even though the spinal fusion was over a yr & half ago I m not recovered n when I have a good day I forget but alot of times the nxt day I b wondering Y M I IN PAIN

the original:

I have 5 goals for December:


1. walk 2x a wk
2. stationary bike 2x a wk
3. wii 3x a wk
4. eat within calories 5x a wk
5. strength train 6x a wk

the modified:

I have 5 goals for December:

1. cardio 6x a wk (walk; wii; stationary bike; or regular bike)
2. eat within calories 5x a wk
3. strength train 6x a wk
4. take some me time everyday ( either reading a book or crocheting)
5. work on getting enough rest/sleep
