my blog from yesterday didnt save I m sooo irritated I must have closed the laptop b4 it saved so I lost it

went bike riding w La n hubby; unfortunately I had an asthma attack on the way home n I've been using the nebulizer every 6 hrs since then
on top of that I developed another fever so no energy

REALITY

I was not being realistic when I set up my December goals; soooo I've decided to modify them

I need to remember my limitations & even though the spinal fusion was over a yr & half ago I m not recovered n when I have a good day I forget but alot of times the nxt day I b wondering Y M I IN PAIN

the original:

I have 5 goals for December:


1. walk 2x a wk
2. stationary bike 2x a wk
3. wii 3x a wk
4. eat within calories 5x a wk
5. strength train 6x a wk

the modified:

I have 5 goals for December:

1. cardio 6x a wk (walk; wii; stationary bike; or regular bike)
2. eat within calories 5x a wk
3. strength train 6x a wk
4. take some me time everyday ( either reading a book or crocheting)
5. work on getting enough rest/sleep

    They're all very cute. I used to make plastic canvas ornaments. I miss my craft projects. I'm ready to put together a sampler square afghan, but haven't made the time. Being part of this team and seeing all the completed projects is motivating me. Hopefully, someday soon I'll pick up my crochet and finish that afghan!

Pushing On

I got my work out in today I walk over 3 miles and did my upper body strengthening

we had walked (yes w the walker) 2 do a little Christmas shopping for La @ the dollar store

then we get home just in time 4 her school bus n as we r discussing her day fed ex shows up w the bikes that hubby ordered 4 Christmas (thank God for half price sales w free delivery); well needless 2 say La knows that all 3 of us got bikes; so glad cause as much as I enjoy getting my exercise in - these long walks really remind me of the spinal fusion n fluid retention causes the legs to hurt from them being so swollen n doing all the walking But now thanks to the Blessing I have a bike that will make it less painful

blog for December 4th

Some how my blog yesterday didnt post; so I am going to blog 2x tday

did 30 mins on the wii yesterday & I did my core & lower body strengthening

I dont get it but I gained back the 9 lbs I lost praying its just the fluid retention cause I been exercising & eating less

I m not gonna give in I m going 2 push through

I even printed out a chart that I can check off things as I do them each day - this should help me 2 stay focused

    Stay focused and don't fret too much. Sometimes I go up for a few weeks, then I have a big drop. If you stick to your plan, you will achieve your goals -- look at the bigger picture than just a day or even a week. emoticon
