Day 30 - 2012

I got the letter on Saturday that my ins was in effect; so I went to my primary care dr today. I m back on most of my meds n is trying me on something new for the depression. And he wants me 2 try a new therapy its a cd w someone talking n some music. I will b getting the cd later this wk.

Tomorrow I will find out if the place I was suppose 2 go 2 for mental therapy takes the ins that I now have. Prayerfully things r gonna get better 4 me where my depression is concerned. My dr is really great & understanding. He was so u helpful w me understanding especially w the fact that I've been suicidal off & on since Sept.

I ate junk food today & was under my calories but on target w everything else.

Exercise was great I did almost 3 hrs.

Day 29 - 2012

Another beautiful day in south Jersey.
I started my day with church & did a deacon training.

did good with my eating today
day off from exercise but I still did @ least 30 mins of walking ( yeah it was 5 or 10 mins @ a time)

Used the oven my son got me. Loving being able to bake again.

Yesterday I got the letter stating my ins is active so in the morning I will b @ the drs office
I m continuing 2 work on the potholders ( I m giving them 2 ppl)

last nite I did 90 mins on the wii as part of a competition against me hubby

Day 28 - 2012

Today was a relaxing day. Hubby is sick so we both rested today
my blessing is that my son brought my stove over today & hooked it up SO YEAH I CAN BAKE AGAIN

My eating was a little over today & my exercise was great

I've been crocheting Valentines potholders today

Day 27 - 2012

Today was a great day. Very little pain & I was even able 2 walk up steps.

I spent most of the day @ church. We gave out food this afternoon & this evening we had our Friday night service. We are planning 2 attend a retreat in Feb called Winter Youth Assembly. It is gonna be my first year attending. My son was actually the 1st youth from our church to ever attend & that was over 10 yrs ago. wow I feel old sometimes.

Eating was really lousy today. I was doing great until I made homemade fried chicken nuggets 4 the hubby. Yes fried chicken is 1 of my weaknesses; that's y I usually only make it for special occasions.

Exercising today was alot of walking. I plan 2 back 2 the wii fit plus tomorrow & prayerfully on the edge (stationary bike). I really need 2 get a calorie burn on.

Other then the rain it was a beautiful day today - so warm I even opened up the windows.

Day 26 - 2012

Well yesterday was hubby b-day so we kind of had a lazy day.

My son wasnt able to pic up the stove the guy who he was buying it from isnt answering his calls; so he looking into finding another stove 4 me.

Eating is continuing 2 improve; especially as hubby finally gets it. I now have a bowl sitting on the stove that is a 1/2 cup serving & that is how much he serves me of each thing. Still have to work on the weighing part but hey we r slowing getting there.

Exercise was just walking & up & down the steps. As part of my own physical therapy I m working on properly walking up & down the steps; takes me a little longer but thats ok. I feel great about the progress I've made.

    It really helps when hubby gets it. Every time I go to get something to eat, mine asks me if I'm having something I'm supposed to.

Some time that really annoys me--like when I know I'm over my calories for the day. But I know he really cares.
