Day 4 - 2012

Well its another cold one here in South Jersey. Living w these portable electric heaters just aint cutting it; so we ordered an electric heater that is suppose to heat 1000 sq ft - that should work 4 the living/dinningroom area. The portable heaters work for the bedroom just not the large area.

Still waiting on the insurance issue to get fixed thru social services.

my dad is still in the rehab but my mil got released from the hosp today

I decided to go by the wii weight even though it is like 10 lbs heavier then what my scaled says but until I get back to the drs it will do. so I m starting 2012 @ 252 lbs. Not where I wanted to b but @ least I'm not where I originally started.

Been doing good on getting in my workouts; still so-so on the food. But prayerfully I go food shopping tomorrow & then that will improve.

Today we painted half of our living/dinningroom tomorrow we will 2nd coat it n possibly start the rest. It really does help to brighten it up down here especially as we have dark curtains & weatherization over the windows.

My pain level is about 10+; but I refuse to let it get me down. I'm just taking it 1 day @ a time & continually praying. If I could just find a way to sleep that I wasn't waking up every hr or 2 in pain it would b great. Even meds dont help w this. But once I get my ins fixed & can get back to the neurologist prayerfully they can figure out how to fix the problem with the nerves in my neck.

I m putting together a 3 Kings play for our Friday Nights for Everyone Service, I'm actually starting with the Herod scene. It should b fun. Then the 3 kings/wiseman will b giving out tooth brushes & travel kits.

Well its my turn on the wii so I guess thats all for now.

    hey, good for you to get on the Wii for weight, Unless you are getting on it nude(or panties) right after waking, I think you can easily explain thr weight difference. Have you had breakfast or lunch, have you drank water, are you clothed. all theses explain a higher weight.

Day 3 - 2012

Day 3 & I m forming or shall I say reforming good habits.

I really dont feel good today very little sleep & a virus that I've had 4 over a mth is whipping my rear; but I still got up & did my exercising. I refuse 2 give up this time.

I do enjoy the fact that hubby is doing the wii with me & trying 2 exercise regularly himself. Although he is trying to bulk up as I m trying 2 lose.

I havent been eating so well lately but its cause we need 2 go food shopping which prayerfully I will b able 2 do within the next few days.

I did my volunteering @ the Academy today ( I teach Peace Skills @ a Christian High School. (It amazes me how different youth r from when I went 2 school) Tuesday is one of the high point of my week; even though @ times I want 2 strangle those kids.


I didnt get my measurements done 2day but I will get it done in the morning

Well I guess thats it for today & only 25 more daily blogs to go.

Day 2 - 2012

Today I printed out a workout chart for the mth of Jan. to help me stay focuses & on track. I even added the stuff that I'm hoping to do by the end of the mth.

I m tracking ALL my food. Which is more then which I normally eat (TTOM).

We arranged the entire downstairs to make it easier for me& my dad to get around w our walkers. Now we just need to finish upstairs which includes my workout room. We do still have to do ramps 1 from the porch into the living room then 1 from the kitchen into the pantry area ( which leads 2 the restroom) If we dont lose the house due to back taxes we will get ramps from the outside.

Dad is still in the rehab & will probably b there 4 a cpl of wks, My MIL is in the hosp waiting for a biopsy results. Like my dad she also has just had 2 surgeries.

Tomorrow I plan on doing a weigh in & measurements for the new year. Problem is that my scale & the wii have me @ 2 different weights; so I guess I have 2 find a 3rd weigh in the do a comparison. I plan on doing this on a mthly basis.

Well I guess thats all for now; got to finish my exercising for the day.

    My, you are really getting going! I suggest you just track with one of the scales, so you'll still know if you are going up or down. You are well on your way to a healthier you! Congrats!

Day 1 2012

Well I have decide to try the jump into January challenge . I cant do half the stuff on the videos but I m adapting them to work for me.

My depression & I are fighting again - I really m trying not to give into it. But it is just so hard especially when I can't get my meds due to the insurance screw-up.

I'm still not getting much sleep due to the pain. The surgery on my back helped cause I dont fall down anymore but I m in constant pain. Its not just the back - the nerves in my neck r getting worse which causes the numbness & pain in both of my arms. I have bought several different types of pillows that r suppose 2 help & they do for a short period of time. Nada seems 2 last 4 much time.

I now have a walker w 4 wheels & a seat so I can start going 4 walks again. I have a stool in the kitchen so I can help to do dishes. Hubby & I do the cooking together. So I m doing more things but I stay have trouble dressing myself; getting in & out of the tub & taking care of myself in general.

I'M NOT A FAILURE UNLESS I STOP TRYING. This is my new motto.

JANUARY GOALS

Instead of new years resolutions I m gong 2 continue with my mthly goals.

My gaols 4 January r gonna b very simple:

1. use the wii fit plus @ least 3x a week
2. strength training 6 days a wk
3. to track my food everyday
4. to either use the stationary bike or bike ride 2x a wk
5. log onto Spark people every day

MAY EVERYONE HAVE A SAFE & BLESSFUL NEW YEAR
