THE WEEKEND

Had a nice quiet weekend.

Got the yard started & hubby made my fire-pit. We also got most of the workout room set up, which involved packing up La's toys to go to my daughters house. The family room is also almost finished now that the exercise equipment is out of it.

Tomorrow is my appt w/ the neurologist to deal w/ the numbness in my left arm & the carpal tunnel. I had the surgery on my right hand about 15 yrs ago. I started my dental work. I have to call my insurance company to find a therapist cause every1 that my dr calls is booked until August. Still having Panic Attacks it really is taking over but I trust God will c me thru this.

Z - 1st wknd w/hubby home & it was just us
E - 60 mins

UPDATE

Still having episodes but I'm dealing with them.

Went to the drs yesterday & he changes my meds. The therapist that my dr recommends r all booked up till August so now I have to go thru my insurance company to c if they can recommend someone who has an opening sooner. I c the neurologist on Monday to c if I'm getting the carpal tunnel surgery or not. I woke up 3 am this morning sick as wateva, how I caught something @ the drs office.

Hubby comes home tomorrow for good, Praise B God. He will have to some programming but hey he b home with me & that's what is important.

I started exercising again, so prayerfully I can stick with it.

I talked to my pastor yesterday & we agreed that it is best that I take a break from my commitments with the church for a while, instead every time finding some1 @ the last minute to replace me.

Z - I started exercising again
E - 60 mins but the day only half over

    emoticon I'm sure hubby being home will help a ton! Can you ask to be put on a cancellation list with the therapists that were recommended? I would go ahead and make an appt, even if it's a couple months out, ask to be put on the cancellation list, and still check into your insurance list. That way you have an appt set, and can always cancel if you get something sooner.

Way to go on the exercise!!!

NOT DOING MUCH BETTER

The panic attacks continue. But I know this to shall pass I continue to pray 4 healing.

This is the worse episode that I've had in over 15 yrs. The last time that I was this bad was after my ex-husband held me & my children hostage, mind you this was after I left him & moved back to Jersey.

I keep telling myself that tomorrow is the day that all will b better then I get up & dont want to get out of bed. It's been a wk since the initial episode. The only reason that I'm even up now is due to a migraine thanx to my 2 granddaughter then I have fro the night. My daughter is has been such a blessing thru all this has to b @ the hosp 4 test @ 7 am. 1 grand will stay with me the other a friend of mine will pick up in the morning to take to school.

    I can't imagine going what you have gone through. And I've never had panic atacks. I get very depressed from time to time and just lay down and cry for a while. I've been so fearful that I would develope panic attacks. they sound so frightening. I hope that you will find what works for you. I like to read. When I'm feeling depressed, I pick a book that I've read in the past that made me feel good, and I skim through it and read all the good parts. That can make me feel better getting lost in a good book.

    Having suffered from panic attacks for years, before therapy helped me with coping, I can relate to your feelings of impotence against them. I found that finding a piece of music that soothed me, then keeping a tape of it always handy was a solution for me. When I felt a panic attack coming on, I'd throw in the tape and get lost in the music to help work through the attack and get back to normal, whatever that is. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there, remember we are never given more than we can bare..God is with you, lean on His strength, I know it seems tough right now, but you are going to pull through this, and the strength you take away from it will be amazing!
