Never ask is there anything else or What else can go wrong. Cause then u can wind up with my life
. La(4 yr old grand that I raised form birth to 3 1/2 yrs) moved back in with me in July I get custody in November. Hubby is dealing with some legal problems, which will take longer then we thought.
Welll now my daughter (la's mother) & her other daughter just moved in. So my life will continue to b an adventure. Then there is a possibility that her girlfriend and 2 daughters may need to stay here for a mth.
Why do I have to try to take care of everybody. Why do I keep doing this.
Well gonna watch Happy Feet with La then head to bed have to go to church in the morning.
I will not let life get in my way of getting healthy.

I'm not one of those ppl who will ever b an exercise fanatic. I'm doing what I have to do to get healthy. But there r times that I do wonder if it is all really worth it.

That is y I m so glad that I have to walk my La to school & pick her up. Even though I don't always want to I HAVE TO. She can't miss school; so I have to take that walk. So I m walking just over 3 miles Mon thru Fri.

I have a membership to curves for 1 yr ( I only pay the 200 registration if I cancel my membership) & it is automatically deducted from the house account each mth. So I feel guilty if I don't go cause its paid for. I don't drive (@ 41 yrs old I've never got my driving license) so I ride a bike there(30 min each way).

So I'm getting my exercise but its cause I HAVE TO DO WHAT I HAVE TO DO

The Weekend

The weekends are usually my downfall.
I over eat - I don't exercise. But this weekend was different. I'm not even sure why. but this weekend was different. I may not have done regular exercises but I was active and moving around; rearranging, organizing and cleaning. I didn't go over my calories, either.
I guess I m really finally starting to get this right.
Friday I redid my measurements @ curves. I hadn't been there since June. The most amazing thing was that inspite not doing regular exercise other then swimming & walking around the church during vbs; I lost lbs & inches (just not in my thighs).
Maybe that's y I m able to focus this weekend cause if I could lose 11 lbs in a summer without regular exercise; then imagine what I'm gonna do now that I m focusing.

June to September

I just started going back to curves after being absent since June. But thats okay.
I asked to have my measuremnets updated since I've been gone so long.

I lost 11lbs over the summer andmany inches except my thighs apparenly they r not shrinking like the rest of me slowly is. Not only r they not shrinking but they have grown .25 in. I just dont get it.

I left the paper or I would have shared the changes.

Its amazing what I can accomplish especially when its for a goal other then myself.

Monday thru Friday I now walk 3.26 miles and not by choice. I had some problems getting La back into school (custody wont b finalized until Nov 12). Finally got her into Headstart but by the time I got all the documentation in order the one around the corner from me was filled. So I had to enroll her in a different one. Well to walk there then walk home 2x a day comes to 3.26 miles WOW. It takes between 35 to 40 mins for the hole walk. Talk about stepping it up.

I also now have started going back to curves I'm doing that 3x a wk.

So results r what I expect.
