How Much My Life Has Changed

My life has changed so much since I joined Sparks.

Today I wasn't able to exercise this morning & I had no energy. I was @ a conference @ was picked up early for the drive. I just felt so run down until lunch when I got a chance to work around the building. Who would have thought.

I went from trying to do 10,000 steps 3 to 5 days a week to doing it for 7 days. Starting in April I m gonna go for 15,000 steps 3 days a week.

I m still trying to get my head around the calorie thing. It's just hard for me to accept that I have to now start eating more; especially as my goal has been to eat less.

    You can do it...I have a step challenge as well, plus one of the teams is having a 10K per day challenge..that is just over 6 miles per day!
The calorie thing is what gets me..doing weight watchers we are not to go over our point range, we can use our exercise points if we are still hungry, but then it seems like you don't lose..
I will get the hang of it eventually though!

You are doing so good, and the accomplishments you are making with your success are awesome, keep it up!

started Curves

Well I started curves today.

I rode my bike there 1/2 hr; worked out 45 mins; rode bike home 1/2 hr. Came home went for a walk; did some cleaning & rearranging. After dinner I even danced for 1/2 hr.
Was under on carbs today but everything else was on target. Thats even with me eating some Burger King (it's just been so long).

Curve stats get updated once a mth; I m starting on 3/27/09 @
body fat%....47.4

    Maga, thats great that you joined Curves! You know I had great success with it when I was doing my best! And its wonderful that you rode your bike, what a great workout! I hope you like Curves as much as I do!

    WOW Maga you got your fitness min. in today, I used to belong to Curves, I liked it, it was very upbeat and kinda fun, I am thinking of joining again. Congrats on all the fitness today.

Rain, Rain, Go Away Come Back Another Day

It's been 4 days Praise God I have once again met my nutritious goals. This is amazing to me.

Today was a dreary day; raining off & on. I'm still working on that room - it's taking forever but it will b worth it in the end.

I was planning to start back @ the track today but I guess that will have to wait until next week. Tomorrow is my curves appt & the weekends not really possible to walk the track cause they start setting up for the soccer games.

I love that I have all this extra energy lately - it is truly a blessing.

I get confused thought; the more I exercise - the calories I burn - the more calories I burn - the more calories I'm suppose to eat. I don't get it IF I EAT MORE HOW WOULD I LOSE WEIGHT? It is just so confusing sometimes

Well I made all my nutrition for another day met each of my goals including fat which I usually go over & carbs which I m usually under BUT 3 days now I've met them no unders no overs.
I have been getting my fitness minutes in & my strengthening regularly. I have my curve appt on Friday morning, the blessing is that I don't' have to pay the registration fee if I take a bag of groceries to donate & it's less then $40.00 a mth. I need to get started with losing this weight again.

ALthough the scale went down I was kind of disappointed cause it is moving sooo slowly. But I m starting to get more sleep which is a good thing

    Sounds like you are doing emoticon I have a neighbor that went to Curves and had success with it. Remember when the weight comes off slowly it is more apt to stay off. So, just be patient. That is what I have to keep telling myself, too.

I believe that the streaks help me cause its motivation.

Log in and spin the SparkPoints wheel 31 days = 97%

Exercise for at least 90 minutes per week 20 weeks = 95% Since I've been on sparks on 1 wk was I not able to do this & that was due to my pneumonia

Consume at least 8 cups of water per day. = 100% All I really drink is water

Write 1 blog 1 time per week 19 weeks = 100% My blog to me is my journal & it helps me to b able to look back.

Post a message on the boards 1 time per day 31 days = 98% Everyone is so wonderful on sparks & their advice & pep talks get me thru the rough times

Track calories eaten 1 time per day 53 days = 99% Helps to keep me focused & today is the 2nd day that I met my nutrient goals in everything

Track calories burned 1 time per day = 100% this one is a given
