Well today was my 45 birthday.

It was one of my better ones.
I spent time @ the gym working out with friends.
Took La and her friends to the park w/ her friends.

Got to talk to some family.

now to enjoy the red velvet cake that hubby made me

53/365 2nd WSLS Fitness Party

Today was the 2nd WSLS fitness party.

Date --12/17---01/23--02/23
body fat--xx---48.6----49.3
bmi-----xxx----46.7---- 45.3

We a/lso had did three 1 minute fitness
jumping jacks - i cant so I did side steps - - - 67
push ups - I did wall push ups - - - - - - - - - - - 42
jumping squats - - well I did regular squats - 41

Then we were treated to lunch - - SUBWAY they brought in 2 platters of sandwich n 2 platters of salad stuff YUMMY.

We find out on Wednesday who is the biggest loser @ this point. We also have a nutrition seminar that evening.

52/365 Tomorrow

Tomorrow is a the 2nd Win Some Lose Some (wsls) competition @ the gym.

I will get weighed n measurements done. We also will do our for minute fitness test. One minute of jumping jacks (which I cant do cause I cant jump); push ups and then jump squats. I will have to modify and instead do step outs wall push ups and regular squats.

I m concerned about the weigh in as I have not made it to the gym since Tuesday and all I have been doing is eating and sleeping.

But tomorrow I will head to the gym to get my last chance workout in before the weigh in.

I have to modify my jumping jacks too. Maybe someday I'll be able to do "real" ones, but if not, thats ok too.

    My advice is 'GO FOR IT!!"
I am doing an add on for $ at my fitness center that sounds very similar. We do pre and post testing, weekly weigh ins, and 2 team training sessions (90 min each) with a trainer and the teams have challenges. Each team has tee shirts. I am on the green team. It is exhausting, empowering and fun. Go for it. Have fun and work your buns off. emoticon

51/365 Sleep & Eat

Basically my day was sleeping and eating. Woke up feeling so crappy the only time I feel ok is while I m eating or for the first 30 mins after I eat.

Hubby went to pick my & La's meds. so glad he went instead of me; cause I really don't understand how ppl pick their field to work. if you don't like dealing ppl then y would you work @ a pharmacy in Walmart. i will skip over most of the rude stuff n the attitude that the lady gave him n just give the outline of it.
First he stands in line the lady tells him its 300 for my meds he tells her no she has medicaid; she tells him to go have a seat. Then she calls him back up and tells him another amount he reminds her that besides the medicaid I have a 75% off pharmacy card (obama plan thingy). She tells him that he has to get back into the line which is like 20 ppl; so needless to say - he came home w/o my meds.

La's meds arent covered so I have to recall the dr tomorrow to c if they can prescribe her different meds. She told him mayb he needs to clear things up the the drs b4 they call in the scripts really well WHATEVA

never made it to the gym due to napping on and off all day. Well heading back to bed after I munch on something

50/365 Dr's Visit

Well we rode our bikes just over 3 miles to the drs office. It took 45 minutes to get there. Then we took the same ride home.
I like my new PCP she seems sweet.
I go back on March 6 for a full physical and blood work.
She refilled all of my scripts.
Also put in 2 referrals the neurologist and back x-rays.

No salt at all.
Continue to go to the gym and exercise.
Stay away from ppl when they are smoking; or areas used for smoking.

She feels the numbness is my nerves still healing from the surgery. Due to the fact that I m doing stuff that my nerves aren't use to - - especially since surgery. The fact that once I stop the activity within minutes the numbness usually subsides.

Poor La La got a flu shot n meds for her asthma n cold. She also will b going back in March for a full physical.
