Wow! My last entry was almost a year ago! And I have gained a LOT of weight! I don't remember weighing 131. I am up 15 pounds from that at this time. A job change has me driving 55 miles twice a day, something I have substituted for my exercise time. Ooops!
I will be starting a new job in August, and the drive will be only 12 miles twice a day, so that should free up some time for getting active. Plus, I don't plan to work this summer. We are moving and I will be setting up a new household and just relaxing.
My youngest graduates from High School in a month, the move follows a week later, and I am READY for the new adventure! Now I just need to get my current house sold!

Today is my 43rd birthday, and I am at 131 pounds. My oldest daughter just graduated from High School on Sunday, and life is very good! The weather is beautiful, Summer is nearly here, and I am hoping to stay motivated to clear our our CLUTTER!
We have a lot of hidden clutter in our house, but it eats at me every moment of every day. And it is proven that as you release clutter in your surroundings, it becomes easier to release clutter on your BODY!
So my house is going on a diet, and my body will reap the benefits.

Today was the final weigh in and I lost almost another 3 pounds. With the gain I had last week, my total loss for the 12 weeks was 18.7 pounds or 12.5% of my weight...GONE! I also lost 4% body fat, so I will call it a success.
Now, tomorrow I start my Fit for Florida challenge. In exactly 12 weeks I will be boarding a plane for a week long vacation on the beach in Florida with my youngest daughter (who will be a Senior in H.S. next year). I want to be a lean mean machine when I take to the sand!!
My goal is 5-10 more pounds gone, and a tighter lower half...can you say PEAR SHAPE? I don't like pears.

Well, after a weekend of bingeing at the State Wrestling (club) Meet, with only fast food, junk snacks and NO exercise, I managed to escape weigh in with only a pound gain. The exciting news is that the Pound Plunge finishes this Thursday, so they were retesting body fat %. I have lost 4% body fat in the 12 week challenge...WHICH IS SUPER EXCITING TO ME!!
I am only .6% away from my goal, so I'm going to shoot for a goal 2% less than my original one. I have 12 weeks until I go to Florida for a week, so this Friday I will officially start my "Fit for Florida" 12 week challenge!

I'm not sure what weigh in I am on...naughty naughty! But I did have a 2 pound loss today, for a toal of 18.1 pounds lost so far! I am now focusing on strength training to try and bring my bottom half in line with my top half. I believe I have another 5-10 pounds to lose, but that these will come off slowly, and in the course of increasing strength.
So, officially, I'm not trying to lose any more weight, but I expect it to happen as I continue to eat correctly and exercise...and continue to push myself harder as I progress.
