Capping Show

The Capping Show last night was simply superb....not sure I would class it as the "best one" that I have been to however awesome anyway.....
Was so great to see the students I knew involved in it.....can encourage the first years that were involved through out their journey....one lad (one of the one's who origionally got me going to this) was doing his last show....after 6 years.....

The day today has been really nice and quite warm although didn't manage to get time out in the sun with my book.....all good though.....it is only around 4 weeks till the shortes day and then by Labour weekend it will start to get warmer s"look out yard here I come" ..

a faily lazy day today which has been nice although I will have to go out soon to sort some stuff, however was nice to chill and coffee with a friend who called....

Well that's me for today.....

UNDER 65KG....WOOHOO

Weighed in this morning and was under 65kg....all be it slightly....but under.....

decided to write my blog this morning as I have a very busy day and may not get back to do it later.....

Have the "Capping Show" tonight which is a revue put on each yera by Unibversity students.....started going about 7 years ago when 2 of the students in the hall I was a guard in were involved in it and talked me into going....it is a real hoot although very raunchy.....it is quite amazing as I always have students I know who are in it and they tyhink it is awesome that I take the time to come...let alone pay for the privilege....

Need to continue....trust everyone is doing great at present....

Remember...today is the only day that affects you.....not yesterday.....not tomorrow....enjoy oyur journey today....

FINALLY

Another day almost over.....was really nice today as the meeting I had was cancelled so I could just "chill" and be available in the part of the University I go to on a Tuesday....was really great as I ended up chatting with students that I normally wouldn't get to see on a regular basis.....and I was able to read some of my book while I was at it.....

Booked our air tickets and accommodation today for a trip to Aussie....have been planning to go for 3 years to meet some folks over there and have never got around to organising it......or life has been too busy.....however now it is done and I can forget about it till the end of July....we will be away for 2 weeks....that could be more than enough time to do some financial damage.....
Would really like to have reached my goal by then so I could buy new clothes for our summer.....
We were there briefly 3 years ago for a business trip and bought a few things however have never seen anything like them here......

Have to write a report for my boss tonight as I have supervision with him tomorrow morning so had better get to it.....the report will take me a couple of hours to do so wi;ll get on with it and catch you all again tomorrow.....

How exciting for you to be able to go on a vacation!!! You'll reach your goal, because you are working so hard, but even if you don't you can still get yourself something fun and flirty. Monday Again

I am struggling to keep up with the weeks at times and how fast they are going....maybe that means I am TOOO BUSY!!!!!

Slept like a log last night which was awesome...must have been all that fresh air on our ride yesterday.....

I try to have Monday's for myself however I notice that I am allowing people to creep into it....keep telling myself that the things I end up doing are "one off's" which is true however seem to be doing a lot of them......need to start saying "NO" again......

The weather here today is ok at present.....sun, blue skies and some cloud creaping over however not raining......

Am off to have lunch with a friend today who is from Central Otago and down here as her hubby is in hospital having tests at present......
Have then got a "phone" date with an ex student who lives in the north island now and is off back to Africa next week so will be good to catch up on all that is happening in her world......

Why is that "NO" is such a hard word to say? It is so important for us to have some me time so that we can continue to give fully. I'm glad you were able to go to lunch with a friend. Great ride today

We decided to go for the ride with the club today although it was rather chilly....no I will say cold.....however was good to meet up with everyone and lunch was superb.....

We also got to look at old aircraft which was just brilliant....a trip down memory lane for me.....my Dad was an aircraft engineer all my life and I remembered all the little planes that we saw today....really special.....
I guess that part of it made up for the fact that it was raining most of the way home which was not so good.....nevermind have thaughed out now..... .....AND.....
An added bonus to the day....we still got to Church tonight.... ....

Sunday isn't Sunday without going to church....usually twice however settled for once today........was good for hubby and I to have some time out....we don't get that very often......

Well....that was my day....
Trust everyone had a great day as well.....trust it was a bit warmer where you are than where I was.....
