Beginning of my weekend...weather not so great however at least it is fine.....

have a university Graduation today....not sure how many of my "possums"( that's what I callmy students...lol) are graduating and I always find more at the event than I see in the newspaper in the morning.....

Am focused again today and have my plan set out so just have tpo stick to it and not wander off it like I have done in the last couple of days.....

END OF ANOTHER WEEK

At the end of another week....not sure it has been one of my better weeks however have certainly had worse over recent times.......

Have been putting new proceedures in place to give me more rest to help my health and although I know thta they are going to work it would be really nice if the "non-negotiables" would cease and then i would be ablew to stop cancelling the things that i really need to be doing.....anyways....hubby now has not got to go for ablood test tillnext friday however with his visit to the fracture clinic only just over a week away other areas now are making noises about putting things in place to get him back to work...he is really busting to get back to work but some of these people just need to back off.....

Anyways.....I am going now toread my book for a while and relax and then will get tea and ready to go to one of the student groups tonight.......tomorrow is another day and it is greaduation so I always look forward to that and it is the weekend....yay....

GREAT DAY

Didn't let yesterday tip me in anyway and made a concious choice to enjoy my meal out with friends last night...and I did....it is the nicest meal out in a long time and I have had lots of meals out of late...this was superb.....

Actually went to work today and didn't really get time to catch up with all those who thought they needed my time.....lol....will do that maybe next week.....
Have decided that until I feel much better their world is not going to completely fall apart with out me.....it will still keep going one step at a time.....

am going to have a wine and a nice evening with a young man we supervise.....

Weigh in Day

Well.....weighin this morning was not quite as I expected.....up 400 grms.....
However....having shared that I have been doing really great wiht allmy goals for the last week so am not actually putting toomuch importance on this today....have noticed that occassionally I increase the same amount when i have weighed and am putting it down to retaining fluid.....probably caused by salt in the food I had at the retreat at the weekend.....
Because my tracker has been the best it could be with reaching All the goals am just going to continue and see what next week brings.....all good.....just part of the journey....

Have also been resting the last 2 days and I am feeling a little better than I was on Monday so am taking whats happening as a positive.....

    Well done on your keeping up with your goals. Salt is the big killer when it comes to retaining water so just make sure you drink heaps of water and it'll go pretty quick. Eat protein with each meal (80grams fish, steak, 1/2 tub cottage cheese)and GOOD carbs and you should be fine with your weight loss. Also try and have a protein BEFORE exercise like a boiled egg and then CARBS after exercise and this will help refuel you after workouts and stop the sugar cravings. Its ok to have treat foods but keep this to one day a week and use this as your reward at the end of the week. Believe it or not I have a bottle of Lindauer with hubbie on a Saturday as my treat. Its all about balance so dont beat yourself up if you have slip ups just keep going. Just remember LIFE IS A JOURNEY NOT A DESTINATION!. Kia Kaha

ANOTHER WEEK

Well...this is going to be an interesting week I think.....

Have just had a time on the phone with my health practitioner and, although I knew myself that I was struggling with my energy levels, didn't like it allbeing quite so black and white.....

I have to rest more or I ma going to end up back where I started from....not allowed to continue training for the half marathon and not allowed to do it which is gutting......and have to ask people to help when it comes to running hubby to the appointments for blood etc..... I guess thats what happens when one is recovering form adrenal fatigue and busy comes in again ...a rather hard place to be however receovery does need to continue other wise I am forever going to be going around this mountain.....

Hopefully I can start putting things in place that is going to give me more rest to help....
