BECK DAY 9....MUCH MUCH BETTER...YAY

Day 9 of the Beck solution....
I noticed today that I was mindful to eat slower everytime I ate....
I also made healthy choices at each meal...sat down to eat everything i ate....gave myself credit for having achieved that....yay....
A really good day...one of my best since starting this pogram.....
Am also stacking up the exercise minutes each day which is awesome as well....

All in all my day was really great today....
Staff meeting was interesting....lol....went to campus for a bit and caught up with a possum from last year which was awesome...he wants to meet with me weekly so have put that in place....a very timely meeting.....
Lunch at the hall today was amazing ...got some groceries on the way home and went for a 5k walk.....woohoo....
Am actually feeling motivated and energised although am fairly tired after all my cleaning yesterday and all my walking....
It is ANZAC day here tomorrow which is a public holiday.....most shops are not allowede to open before 1pm....
Will be nice not to have the alarm clock going off at 6.30am......will chill for some pof the morning...have a walk then I am going to a service on campus with a friend then we are going for lunch...really looking forward to that...
hubby is going to fly tomorrow morning so it will be a great day for each of us....

BECK DAY 8....AND DOING BETTER

Today was a much better day...
I walked 6.5k's and also cleaned my house and cleaned cupboard surfaces as well...seem to have been cleaning pretty much all night which is true...lol....all good....helped stack up the exercise minutes...yay....
Am quite chuffed...have my garden done and my house....
Have still got to vacum the upstairs bedrooms but will do that tomorrow.....have some ironing to do as well tomorrow.....

My whole everything has gone a lot better today....got a real shock when I got on the scales thois morning....a total blow out however that didn't throw me for the day.....Just hooked right back into things and got on with it all...yay.....

Am slowly putting the Beck principles into place and I klnow that I will keep going back over it till i actiually get it all....am getting some of it however i know I will get it all....

Am off to byes peeps as I am actually stuffed....all that cleaning...
am going to be a bit sore in the morning I am picking but it will be worth it....am going to get some plants for the garden tomorrow if I get time and then i will have everything done....having said that I still have some shrubs to give a hair cut to but I am sure they will receive on in the very near future.....lol

BECK DAY 7....WOOHOO...SUNDAY....

My first week going through the Beck solution is done and dusted.....Am not totally sure how much progress I have made however i do know that what i have been reading is certainly going in as I think of some of the aspects throughout the day..... so that has to be a good start I guess....
On to week 2 in the morning....

Had a bit of an epiphany in church this morning when hubby was talking....
]He was sharing about the ramafications of a decision that we have just implemented to sell the majority of our shares in the business we are in.....
This is going to mean a real financial change for us as there won't be the same amount of dividend per year coming in....
The thought went through my mind that I wouldn't be able to go out and buy clothes when i felt like it....
I had this voice very clearly say to me....you have clothes...lovely clothes...you just need to get on and lose the weight you have put on so you can wear them....
WOW...is that a true statement....
if I was looking for clear guidance that was certainly very clear.....
SO....I just need to get on and start bringing this about.....
BLC 19 starts on Wednesday so I need to be starting well and truly with it....no more excuses,.....

    I agree with SLENDERELLA61 - and be sure to try them on the week you don't lose as much as expected on the scale. Sometimes THAT is the week those tight pants suddenly fit - I don't know why, but its happened to me numerous times!!

    Your epiphany is truly motivating! Hang up one of your favorites on the outside of your closet and try it on every couple of weeks. I've done that and found it a great visual motivator. You need small things to celebrate along the way, though, especially if it will take you a while to get into the clothing item. Be sure to give yourself rewards for planning, exercising, drinking water, smart grocery shopping, sitting down to eat,etc, etc.

BECK DAY 6.....A BIT OF A STRUGGLE....

Today was a bit of a struggle...not sure why however it just has been....
Having said that i di 120 mins gardening this afternoon so am stoked with that and the fact that my garden is all tidy again....
I have a gift voucher for a garden shop that i had given to me for my birthday so must go and spend it and will get some nice colourful plants for my garden....will enjoy that and I can now get them and come home and plant them....yay....

I have done all my Beck tasks today and have a spark buddy as a diet coach....yay...she is doing the Beck as well...

I am also thinking that because I am struggling and am not doing well at all with the 5% challenge and the next BLC challenge starts on Wednesday...
this time I want to actually achieve something in the 12 weeks of the challenge not just increase.....

Focus and diligent perseverance is what i must hook into....

    Hey girlfriend...no worries! You just hang in there & keep eating a nutritious balanced diet along with daily exercise and You Will Get To Goal Weight!!! I have confidence in you.

BECK DAY 5....

Today was a great day.......
Weather wise it was awesome and I managed to get everything thta i planned on getting done all done and dusted....including a 6k walk.......woohoo....

Am finished day 5 on the Beck Solution........it is bed time and I am heading there when I finish writing this.....

Had an "AHA" moment this morning....
Todays lesson was about eating slowly.....
I actually got it read this morning before I had my breakfast so decided to try this out as I ate my toast.....
i do have to confess that i was doing spark while having my breakfast however i was still able to eat slower that I would have yesterday....was amazed at the difference that it made.....I only ate 3/4 of mt breakfast and was full...not stuffed but satisfied......
I remember thinking to myself...."this is how a thin person eats"....and "this is what is going to help me get thin".....really amazing thoughts and they stayed with me for the rest of the day....
The funny thing was that we were out for a pot luck dinner tonight and I kinda forgot about my eating slowly although I did eat slowly however over ate......all good....
i am still wrapped that i achieved all my Beck tasks up till dinner time and am not going to knock myself out for not achieving then....
I had a 2 out of 3 for the day and that is better than yesterday...woohoo....

    When I'm really hungry, I have a hard time remembering to eat slowly. Something to work on--along with sipping more water.
