Improving

I lost 3 lbs, and it only took 11 days this time, lol. Movement really helps, even just a little bit. I still only get it in in 1,2, or 3 min increments but it seems to be working. I have done a couple of seated Sparky workouts this week, yay me, and I am able to walk just a little bit further. I still seem to have the same amount of trouble just standing though, so I will sit, but as long as my arms are moving my heart rate is still up while sitting. I have a carpet cleaner coming on Thursday so I am trying to get my house in order (SO OVERWHELMING for me). I keep thinking positive thoughts and tell myself I can do it. I'm trying really hard not to think anything non-productive, putting good thoughts in my head and thinking positive all the time. I just saw a quote that says "If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought." So every time some negative thought or feeling try's to creep in I just throw out something positive and assuring. Well, that's it for now. See y'all later.

    I love the seated workout videos. I do the 12 minute core one at least three times a week (and the exercises from it randomly throughout the day). Three pounds in 11 days is great.

TRYING AGAIN

Well, I got up to 350 lbs couple months ago. Just weighed myself tonight (Monday night) and managed to lose a whopping 2 lbs in 2 months doing nothing but mostly cutting out meat. (work in progress) I have started doing some core stretches during the day and walking outside for about 20 feet (which is all my back allows) the last few days. I am going to start incorporating more core exercises and arm exercises as well as continue bouncing on my Rebounder each day. We'll see how I do. emoticon

    Hi there. Came across your page because we have similar weight and goals. I know that it seems daunting when you look at the big number to lose, but but just remember you didn't gain the weight overnight....it will take some time to ditch it in a healthy way. Two pounds lost is better than two gained and it will keep going down! I am just starting off with adding exercise and plan on starting small and adding minutes. Let me know if you want an accountability buddy! :)

    Don't worry. You will get the weight off. Give yourself time and keep doing what you are doing. It's a struggle but baby steps add up. You CAN do this!

    Turn up some good music and start swaying and shaking it around the house!! Even if you get tired you can keep those arms moving--the secret is tO find the music that you just can't keep from dancing! Hehehehee.

Proud of you and your walks! It takes focus to do something every day. Way to go!

I was weighed on 2/16/08 and the number was 312. Yuck!. So my first goal is 20 pounds which will bring me to 292 at which time I will treat myself with a manicure.

Well, I went up to 314 pounds when I was weighed again around 3/1/08 PBBBBLLLLLLT!!! But hey I went down to 308 since then so I am happy and motivated.

VROOOM VROOOM..... The rest is coming off, Here I Goooooo!!!!
