Here it is, "weigh-in day". I must say I was a little disappointed when the scale did not go down in numbers. I worked so hard throughout the week, not overeating in any category and keeping on schedule with my exercises. Oh well, I guess I am thankful the weight did not increase. When the rainy skies finally disappeared late this afternoon, I hopped on my bike and completed 12 miles on one of my favorite trails. With my day coming to a close, there is no change in my positive attitude.

    I'm just about to get my first bike in like 13 years, if i could do 2 miles i'd be happy as hell so cheers on the 12 Keep that up and you'll start losing again.

    I like your attitude. Way to go with the bike ride. Keep on doing what you know you need to do, and the weight will come off.

I am a stair step weight loser. Steady steady, drop a pound or two, gain back a half pound, it takes patience.

You can do this. It is so worth it.

This morning was beastly hot for a ride but I was determined to complete one extra cardio workout this week. Part of the trail is shaded by trees. But the views on both sides can be very interesting and sometimes takes your breath away with the wonders of nature. So I as I tried to keep a steady pace of 12mph, I kept one eye on the trail, one eye on the sites.

Here it is another hot day with temps in the 90s. I'm completing week 4 and I feel so good about myself. In the past I used to use the hot weather as an excuse to skip physical activity of any kind. Now, I look forward to riding my bike no matter what the temperature is outdoors. I'm so Happy to Have better Health, my three personal H's!

The rain finally ended and the blue skies appeared with an hour left until sunset. So I hitched my bike to the rack and drove off to one of my favorite trails. It was good to see so many young families with their children riding their own bikes with mom and pop. What better way to spend time together as a family! The trail had alot of action from its own nature residents, rabbits, chipmonks and a variety of birds. It was such a lovely ride. But the most beautiful sight was a very large doe leaping across the trail in front of me heading toward the stream that flows nearby. Riding 12 miles tonight seemed shorter than most times with so much to see.

The day began in an amazing discovery as I stepped onto my scale for "weigh in" results. Wow! Even though the daily temps in my area exceeded 90 degrees, I managed to accomplish my exercise goals as well as my nutrition intake. Such a great feeling to have as I begin week 4.
