Wow, my day has been so busy! I'm still going strong on my Atkins diet/eating plan.I feel so good today I burned 576 calories and did like 20 minutes of strength training too.

I have been on the atkins diet for 4 days now and I'm feeling great! I don't even crave carbs anymore and I feel fuller through the day and don't snack anymore, which I think was a big issue with me trying to lose weight before. I weigh 237 pounds as of today and hopefully by March I'll be down to 200 pounds by then.

Today is my starting day of the get rid of my pregnant belly diet. I weighed myself yesterday at 236 pounds, and have started eating smaller meals, healthier foods, and moving to lose as in exercising more. I will weigh myself once a week and hopefully next week will see downward movement on the scale.

    Good for you... you are off to a great start... This is my 2nd day and I feel pretty good, especially after I found that I didn't want the zone bars that I had bought for my free meal... the bar was actually so sweet I could not finish it... I guess the detox worked... so I feel great about that and now for my free meal I can just eat healthy sweet fruit and fruit smoothies and maybe a few more carbs like oven fries... I am absolutely amazed that I gave my zone bars to my son, that has never happened...

Don't get to hung up on the scale because you could be losing inches as well... If you are doing strength training and building muscle you could also see an increase in the numbers on the scale because muscle weighs more than fat and that may discourage you... so get your tape measure out and take measurements now so that you can also re-measure your waist, hips, upper arms, neck, and thighs... and also pay attention to how your clothes fit... these are more accurate ways of indicating your progress...

It is just the beginning of a wonderful journey, "we can do this"... keep me posted ...

I am getting things ready in my house for my big change, I am going to get me a journal and start writing down everything I eat and start making myself exercise even if its just like 10-15 minutes a day.

I have reset my goals on and can lose all my weight and more by Julian's first birthday by losing 2 pounds a week and exercising and eating healthy. As soon as I get the okay from my OBGYN to start aerobics up again then I'm going to start walking and doing my Walk away the pounds DVD's and doing crunches and other strength training on here. I look forward to losing the old me and regaining the energetic, active, happy me again!
