Okay its a new year and I am finally ready to get myself to my goal weight. I know the problems I have 1) I don't drink enough water, 2) I don't exercise enough, 3) I don't eat right. Okay so what to do about this. Today I decided that since I am totally addicted to soda that I have to drink a 16.9 oz bottle of water before I can have a soda. The results for today. 70.7 ounces and 2 sodas and 1 chai tea latte. I'm pretty pleased with that. As far as the exercise goes a week before Thanksgiving I quit smoking. I know awesome right?!?! I mean I've been smoking for over 20 years and just decided to quit. Yes I did use the patch but really what matter is quitting. So far I'm going strong and have no desire to smoke. So anyway the Monday after Thanksgiving I started doing the C25K program or the couch to 5K. This is an interval program that is supposed to take you from sitting around to running a 5K in 9 weeks. I went through 3 1/2 weeks and my knees were in so much pain that I couldn't move. I decided it was my shoes and took the week off of Christmas to let my knees heal and get running shoes as a gift. So hear we are the new year. I'm on to week 2 of the C25K that I started over after Christmas. I'm earning my soda with water and as for my last fault I am working on eating right. Hopefully with this blog as my journal, my drinking more water and less soda, and the C25K I'll reach my weight and health goals. Happy New Year everyone!!!
