Still no water!

Friday, September 14, 2007

We still have no water. I am actually getting worried. It is becoming very unsanitary around here. Fingers crossed for today!

How do you drink 8 glasses of water when you don't have any water?!

Ou water is off. It has been reall difficult cuz the water is off. And now it looks like we won't be gettingit for a few more days. UGH! I ate the fact that we do not have water. It is so challanging to keep anything clean. It is hard to get enough fluids in to your body!

Hang in there! I know it's tough, especially managing a toddler and infant AND a husband, too. But, I know you can do it.

Money is short, but go buy a few more 88 cent drinking water cartons. Drink those. Fill the empty ones from your neighbor's hose for toilet flushing. You can use your Brita filter to "clean" the hose water for your drinking water and noodle boiling water.

You're going to be busy with the extra work, but you'll get a routine down. Kiah can help fill the bottles.

To keep the stress at bay, try looking at the humorous side to all this. Keep a big smile, even a fake smile can somehow lessen stress. Listen to some comics or read some comics websites for some out-loud laughter. Remember, you're the one who taught me that laughter makes you relax ... ;-)

In a few days this will be over ... just in time for the next "event" ... HA!

I love you ...

Starting out

Thursday, April 27, 2006

Today I found this site. I have been on for a month now, but heard about this one. We are trying to get pregnant, but I figure I can keep working on the weight issue until that point, because who knows how long it could take.

I started trying to lose weight this time around in Jan. 2006. I started at 222.2. I am now at 196.2. Yippee!!! But I am a little frustrated right now because I have hit a slump. I haven't really changed much but my weight has been staying strong here at 196 for the last month. So this site was just at the right time for me.

I was about 196 when I got married in april 2003. But the Birth Control Pills that they switched me to caused me to gain about 30 lbs in 6 weeks. So I stopped those and worked hard to get back down on Weight Watchers. I got down to 210 before getting pregnant with my daughter. I gained a lot of weight while pregnant, mostly water, I was on bedrest because of it, but I did not lose that last 12 lbs until the last few months. The last little bit took almost a year to get off.

But now I am back down to my pre marriage weight, which is where I have been most of my life. I gained a lot of weight in High School, but stayed at just about the same weight all through college. With the exception of the Jenny Craig boat I did. I did get down to 180... but gained it all back. Right back to where I am now. It was the new Birth Control Pill that put me over the edge. But I am getting abck there. I figure the more I lose now the better my next pregnancy will be, and the healthier I am the healthier my baby's chances will be.

I am doing LA Weight Loss now. It seems to be working for me. Except for this point where I am stuck. I always seem to get stuck here... Like my body thinks this is the weight I should be or something. I am trying to rev up my exercise, and really watch portion size.

Here we go!
