Well here we are - time is passing and I'm not losing weight. I know why - it's easy to sabotage yourself if you eat nachos apparently! Still, overally I feel like I'm moving in the right direction. I'm really getting consistent with my workouts and most days I'm making the right food choices and staying in my calorie range. I'm working hard on my strength training and I'm hoping that the pounds will start to slide off soon!

This has been a pretty good week so far. I've done a cardio/pilates dvd twice and plan to do the same (or a new one if I can find a good one!) at least 2 more times between now and Sunday. I've been close on my calorie counts most days and I think I'm down a pound, but it's hard to tell on my scale! Hopefully by next week I'll be at 135, which should be easier to read!

We have an engagement party/dinner on Sunday, which is buffet-style, so I'm a little nervous about it. I want to enjoy it but I don't want to go crazy. I'm hoping if I get in some really good cardio and strength training earlier Sunday it will help even the day out!

I started a Spark Team for the girls at work this week too - I think we'll really be able to help motivate each other.

Ok, here it goes - I'm ready to get serious (again!) I can't believe I let myself slide so badly. I was at such a great weight after the GI Diet - down from 147 to 125 or so. I was comfortable btwn 125 and 130 - I was in a size 6 and felt so good.

Now I'm back up to 140 (well, this morning it was 139, but still). I'm going to stop eating junk and although I didn't exercise on the GI Diet, I'm defintely going to do it this time. DH and I are already signed up for one night of rec volleyball which is a start, but I'm going to use my elliptical trainer 3-4 nights per week and for now I'll do some exercise dvd's on other nights. Apparently DH threw out the dumbbells, so I'll need new ones so I can do a little weight training too!

So far today I'm doing really well - I've had a banana mocha smoothie for breakfast, approx 16 ounces of water, and a piece of whole wheat toast and sugar free jam. I'm having lunch with Laura at Subway, so I know I can make a fairly healthy choice there.

Tonight I will do 20 minutes (at least!) on the elliptical.

  just a question. coming from someone who works at subway, which one have u gone too? anyone can check out the nutritional info about the subs on the subway website as well. just so that u know before you go in
