Week In Review

Monday, October 11, 2010

This past week was not very good for me. I didn't feel well so I over ate almost everyday. i was able to stay motivated enough to exercise so I didn't gain any weight but I didn't lose any either. I am making good food choices just eating too much. This next week will be better, I hope.

My October Goals

Saturday, October 02, 2010

I am still having a problem with portion control so I have set some new goals for Oct.

1. Stay within my calorie range at least 5 days per week
2. Drink at least 8 cups of water every day.
3. Do at least 30 minutes of cardio every day.
4. Strength train at least 45 minutes 3X per week.
5. Do 50 crunches every day ( this is for one of my teams challenges)

Personal goals are

1. Read my Bible every day
2. Spend quality time with my husband
3. Learn to love me no matter what I weigh.

Well there it is. Wish me luck.

My Plan For Thanksgiving

Saturday, September 25, 2010

My plan to make it through Thanksgiving without gaining weight is mostly to watch my portions. I have finally gotten it through my stubborn head that too much food is too much food whether it is healthy or not. I pan to continue to exercise and drink my water and have fun visiting with my family and friends, NOT EATING.

I did it

Monday, September 06, 2010

Well I did it. 30 minutes of exercise everyday for 28 days straight. I have come to enjoy the strength training and usually the walking. Sometimes due to physical limitations it is painful to walk for very long or very far but I keep trying which is much better than I have done in the past. I haven't given up and don't intend to. I haven't lost much weight but I think the measurements this month will be really good.

Great job! That is such a wonderful achievement and you should be very proud of yourself for sticking with it. Twenty eight days doesn't sound like such a long time, but I bet it took you great tenacity to stick to it and get it done thinking it was taking forever to get to goal. Congratulations!

Done with Week #3

Tuesday, August 31, 2010

Well I am done with week #3. I have continued to exercise for at least 30 minutes every day and have tried to stay within my calorie range. I did';t do very good with that this week. I have either been over or under almost every day this week. My goals for the next week is continue to exercise and get and stay within my calorie range.
Thank you everyone for your support and motivating blogs and comments. I would be lost without you all.

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I'm in my 3rd week just as you have finished yours, so I'm right behind you. You are probably doing better than you think because I see the first few weeks as an adjustment time to learn what we need to do to reach our goals. You are consistently excercising and that is very important. I have found the tracking, esp. the nutritional, is so helpful! I'm getting an idea of what will keep me within both calorie limits and nutritional limits but that I enjoy, cuz I have a looong way to go yet. I'm abt 10 yrs older than you and also have health issues. Keep up the good work!
