    Post all of them. The schedule you have on there sounds like a great idea. Outside this site I don't really read blogs on the regular. I'll stop by one if it's a friend's blog or someone directs me to it or if it's about something that I was looking for and it came up in a search. I'd read yours though, they're always so well written and I love the quotes.

    All of your ideas sound great. Maybe you could break each idea up and once a week do 2 blog ideas from your list. Every 4 weeks you would have each of those ideas from your list covered :)

    Great ideas! I like the question of the day idea. Also, I don't know how you feel about me publicizing another blog here on your blog, but if you are looking for recipe inspiration, i have found a TON from this one blog where she posts recipes, lots of pictures of her food, simple ideas for packing lunches and other stuff like motivation and fitness ideas. Her before and after pictures are incredible. Sparkmail me if you'd like a link to the blog.

    While I understand the desire to push yourself- never ever let perfection take over. Perfect is the killer of great. Often we push for perfect exercise consistency and belittle ourselves when we rest- but eventually we'll think screw this, I can't do it right so why try? and you will have killed good.

I'm not saying pat yourself on the back for walking around the office- but be proud of the changes you have made and strive to move forward. Especially with the other challenges you've had lately- don't let the search for "perfection" destroy "damn great".

    I'm going to agree and disagree with you. I think even though it may seem like you're slacking a little and not being very effective in working out, you're obviously doing something right. You don't see improvements in things like running time without putting in a fair amount of time and effort which you've obviously done because you see that improvement. It may not be as much as you want but it's enough to change your body which is really what you're aiming to do right now. Trust me I can understand wanting to do more because I too am always worried I'm not doing enough. This is where I agree with you somewhat. I think if you feel like you can do more reasonably then do more. As long you keep in tune with your body and don't aim for extreme and unreasonable goals then it's definitely something you should work towards.

    The quote about dropping your phone on the floor and then smashing it to bits is a good one. I often do that, have a crap day and say oh, well, I will just keep eating badly and it spirals completely out of control. Thanks for sharing and I think you did a great job.

    I'm glad you're deciding to put it behind you and keep moving. You're right, it wouldn't make much sense to trash a whole day because of one little mistake. I think your plan is perfect because even though you still go over you've avoided a much bigger problem. What you might consider doing, is calculating a calorie total for the week. So say if your range was 1,200-1,500 kcal/ day your range for the week would be 8,400-10,500 kcal/ week. Doing it this way if you have a day like this you would simply adjust over the course of the week instead of having to worry about something extreme like a 50 kcal allotment for a meal.

    I am so proud of the fact that you even realized you might have eaten around 700 calories of the chocolate chips. If we go into our past we would have eaten it, not even thought twice about it and kept on inhaling even more calories. The fact that you know how much it is and can just keep moving is so important and so great. I also agree forcing yourself to have 50 calories for dinner you would be setting yourself up for a possible binge later because 50 calories for dinner is just a joke. I love how you handled this! emoticon
