First of all, you are SOOO close to having lost 60 pounds!! That is incredibly exciting!

Second, way to go on recognizing that you need to commit to exercising (instead of just having an interest in it)! That is AWESOME that you jogged home from the store! I find that I am good about sticking to my workout plan, but I resist doing things like that just to add more activity to my day. I think I should start parking as far away from school, stores, etc. as possible just to add that little bit in!

I've been wondering where you've been hiding lately, so I'm happy to see all your new blogs! emoticon

Yay! So cool to get to read THREE updates! Glad to see you're as committed as ever to your journey, and still working on improving your exercise regime. So am I. It's not easy. Some people seem to take to it a bit more naturally than others (I'm not one of them).

The only thing that's worked for me regularly so far is the walking. It seems the only thing I'm willing to commit to doing daily. I even started a C25k program a few weeks ago, but I'm so sporadic it's ridiculous. I hope to change that eventually but I'm not ready to commit, apparently. Same with strength training for me. I'm not ready. But I'm okay with that for now. I know I will get there if I keep health and weight as primary goals in my life. For now, I simply am focusing more on my eating/calories and just getting in activity (walking). But you GO with your bad self on the commitment to exercise, girl! Inspire and show me how it's done ;)

I see the 60 pound mark so close in your future (maybe you hit it today?) CONGRATS, Ashley!

Good luck with the mile time, hopefully we'll both get under our desired numbers soon! I love the quotes, especially the lamp.

love, love, love...oh and did I say love? There is a very visible difference Ashleigh, funny though, we can rarely ever see it in our own this day, if I look smaller in a pic, I just think it's cause I was further away from the camera, so I took up less space in the! You're doing such an amazing job!

Aaaand my chance to help others:

Soooo sorry I've been MIA this week!!! That second post explains why. I'm not sure if I'll be able to pick up where I left off with my regular blog posts next week or not :-/

emoticon for the size 16 pants (that is awesome; you have come so far in such a short period of time!!) and for the new opportunity in your life! Don't worry about whether or not other people agree with it or not, as long as it works for you, that's what matters! (I hope that doesn't sound rude; I have no doubt that whoever it was that you were referring to had nothing but your best interest at heart!)

I can't wait to see your progress pics!! emoticon

It's great when you can get into a smaller size. I too just recently got into some smallish 16 jeans and before that a pair of 14s that is probably sized wrong. Congrats!

Love, love, love! Congratulations!! That feeling of being able to do something physically that you could never do is one of the best feeling ever! I used to fake sick on the days that we had to do the "mile test" in school just because it was so embarrassing and I dreading getting made fun of...oh memories. emoticon

Great time! I can't wait to see what the mile is at the end of the challenge! :-)
My legs still hurt after running a mile during those timed tests. I hated them in elementary school and high school and always had to walk, but the BLC ones I love! :-D
