I have my family bowling party next weekend and I was told to bring a dessert. I have no clue what to make. Any ideas would be wonderful and helpful. I'd like to bring something that is low in calories and healthy.
This weeks challenge was to make a vision board. It's taken me a few days to figure out what I wanted to put on my board, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

*The heart picture with all the food is a great reminder for me that I really really need to eat more vegetables and fruit.
*The picture below that is another favorite. Through CrossFit and being more in shape I want to do the one handed handstand on the kettlebell.

I decided to do a different type of a workout game. I didn't want to do a TV game so I really had to think about it. It's taken a couple days to get it all together but I'm going to do a ringtone/ text tone type game. My goal is to accomplish this every day.
My boyfriend took me out to lunch and then we were talking about the biggest loser competition that he's starting at work next Friday. I'm going to participate with him but obviously just do it all at home. So we picked up the treadmill yesterday and went looking for new running shoes for him. I found new running/zumba shoes too! So I got a pretty cool birthday present too! I love them and can't wait to try them out! I got Asics GEL-Lyte 33 running shoes.
I couldn't have asked for a more fun birthday! The company was great and he makes me laugh all the time! Best feeling ever.
Morgan Madalyn and I went out for dinner lastnight too! They each made me a lovely photo frame writing how much they love me!
I also was so proud of myself for not buying or making any type of birthday cake. I did get a nice treat tho. We went to a new frozen yogurt bar that came into our town 2 weeks ago. So I had birthday yogurt instead of birthday cake! What a fun alternative.
I went to my friends fitness studio this morning. I knew once I got there that it would be a great workout. All the lights were off and the disco lights were all going. My shoes were even glowing in the dark. I knew that both my friends that own the studio are the best that they come but I was reminded once again WHY I should be going to En Fuego. They seriously know how the zumba! I've been zumbaing since 2009 and have gone to many other instructors but Addy and Sarah are the best that they come!!!
I talked to Addy for about 45 minutes after class was over. She's watched my kids and I've watched her kids, we get together. It's just nice! I was talking to her about everything that's going on and she told me to not worry. I have a place to go and hang out with friends and kick some butt while I'm at it. She told me that I should go to Body Combat. I've heard good things about this class but it scares me to go. SOOO I'm stepping outside of my comfort zone and going to Combat on Monday.
I'm also very excited to start seeing myself shirk. It maybe a slow progression but I'm not about to give up anytime soon. I want to feel better and show my girls how to live a healthy active lifestyle.
