It's Z time!

I am so excited...I just received my Zumba for Beginners DVD and can't wait to try it out. When I opened it up, my husband says "Oh another new thing!" I was hurt and discouraged but later he said that maybe this will be the one for me. I do try new exercises, diets, etc. But at least I keep trying. Ah well, I am going to try this Zumba tomorrow morning. We shall see. emoticon

    Zumba is great. But honestly I think you need to do it in a class to really appreciate it. Or at least that's how it is for me, the videos are great but I felt incompetent, but when I went to a class I realized everyone was!! Dont stress the steps, It's just about moving, having fun.

My guy makes comments like that too, but he doesn't mean for them to be as hurtful as I take them. I'm sure it's the same w yours, guys say things without realizing what their saying.

    I found zumba challenging but fun.One exercise does not fit all and sometimes you have to keep trying new workouts to find the one for you.Goodluck lesleyanne. emoticon

  Ya, people do collect books, DVD's and equiptment , but lots of people like zumba. Usually eventually you either get variety or something hat becomes a real passion. Keep up the good work. emoticon

A rough day

I have been battling a migraine (they come with that time of the month...oh joy) all day today. I felt a little better after lunch but then it started coming back in late afternoon. But I managed to make it thru the day and got home where I can relax and try to get rid of the headache. But first, checked in with SP and some really awesome peeps! emoticon I did not eat very well at all today UNTIL I was coming home and decided that I am going to start to eat as little processed foods as possible. Is it going to be hard, you betcha, but I have to make myself do this. I suffer from GERD and the excess weight isn't helping. Plus it is dragging me down and I have enough on my plate as it is. So there, fast food...buh-bye! I am putting myself first, pray for me! Thanks!

    Sounds great!! Fast foods will get you every time. I have stayed away from fast foods for a long time. Very seldom I will have either fries, or a small burger. Otherwise, I just enjoy the fresh fruits/veg, and eating healthy. emoticon
